today i found this drawing i did as an exercice for art school back in 2008 and thought i had uploaded it, but no, i had not.
i guess i was much more selective back then... so maybe i 'll start seaching for some old stuff that never pusblished. who knows?
anyway, i just saw in my blogger account that my last entry yesterday the 500th.! I started it back in march 2007 and has been a fun thing to do, even though there were times i didn't have anytime or anything to upload.
You can have a quicker glance at most (not all) of the images in only one screen here http://dibujandoarte.blogspot.com/.
the sketch i used to make this painting in a sintetic way is
here
these are some works (among many other) i did yesterday for school. I've just realized this is my 350th post in this blog!!! WOW! I cannot believe that. Hope to be able to post more regularly during summertime.

a big sketch of abut 60x70 cm
it was an imaginary sketch but ended up looking like someone i used to know... I miss you a lot!
i already stamped it in colours. the first print is a solid dark purple colour rectangle, then when dry i printed the woodcut in golden ink on top.
it's the first try that's why the golden print doesn't look ok. once i make other copies the layer will look solid.
(the image: i used a sketch i did of a painting by Fader)
this is a composition exercise for school. i used
this old sketch to prepare it. hope the teacher tells me it's alright, i don't want to do it again... Lu helped me with the compostion. thanks! and David, my good friend, thanks also for your constant advice!!!!
Whoa, what a weekend. My first BEA has come and gone, I’ve met some amazing people, tracked down some of my favorite bloggers and gotten zero sleep. The fatigue combined with the rain makes getting out of bed this Monday particuarly difficult. Be sure to check the blog later today for my impressions of BEA and some pictures.

Martin, this painting is absolutely gorgeous. I love the contemporary feel of it and the edginess as my eye moves from form to shadow. Love it!!!!!
thanks Leslie! i didn't know what i was going to do when i started it, but i liked the palette that the teacher suggested.
