I will get right to it. The update today is to announce the new design of my website.
The goal was to deliver something light and fresh. All of the key points are there and link across a variety of social media. It is an active site which will constantly be updated from the blog, Facebook and Twitter.
One of the most exciting things is the new MillerWords store.
Follow the Order link to connect with the official Square store. Currently, all of my paperback books are available with free shipping and a personalized autograph. We are in the process of adding hand-made jewelry and all of my eBooks. (the link to the store is also at the top right of this blog)
I invite you to visit the links and follow me on Facebook and Twitter. As always, your feedback is most welcome in the comments below.
Thanks for stopping by!

I hope you will celebrate with me as today, April 24th marks a very special day for me, indeed.
Why am I celebrating? I am celebrating because 5 years ago today, on April 24th, 2009 I had a life saving surgery and I praise God that I have been cancer free ever since. 5 years cancer free!! Hallelujah!!
I am so grateful for every single day that I have been blessed with especially since my battle with breast cancer. When I think back on everything that has happened over these past 5 years, I am so very grateful that I got to witness my sweet daughter get married as well as getting to be there when my precious grand daughter was born. I am so very blessed to be married to my wonderful and amazing soul mate and best friend for these past 32 years who was with me every step of the way throughout my battle.
And to top it all off…I get to do what I love and love what I do every single day at Phyllis Harris Designs! How could I ever ask for more?
To help celebrate this wonderful day I am going to offer FREE SHIPPING in both my shops. In my own shop as well as in my Etsy shop but this offer is only good for ONE DAY ONLY(4-24-14) so hurry. Just use the special code CELEBRATELIFE at checkout and receive FREE SHIPPING on your order.
Thank you all for being a part of this wonderful journey!Phyllis

JacketFlap tags: Mike Edwards, Borders Rewards Loyalty Porgram, Bookselling, Borders, customers, email, free shipping, Add a tag
Borders’ CEO Mike Edwards has written an email to the 41 million members of the Borders Rewards loyalty program. In his note, Edwards promised customers that if they can’t find a desired book in a Borders store, the bookseller will order it and priority ship it free of charge to the customer’s home.
According to AnnArbor.com, this free service will be available until June 12th. The article offered this quote from the email: ”I hope you visit your neighborhood Borders and find that special book that speaks to you personally … It’s our way of showing our appreciation for your continued support and loyalty.”
Currently, Borders continues to struggle to reach an agreement with publishers about future book shipments. As we noted earlier, Edwards emphasized that Borders’ ability to weather the crisis is dependent on the support of publishers. What do you think?

Good Morning:
Oh it is a lovely and warm day. The twitterpated birds are busy gathering bits of this and pieces of that. All to be woven into ragged yet efficient homes for their upcoming eggs.
I am on the watch for the return of my yearly visitors...The Hooded Orioles.
I have my Oriole feeder ready to hang at the first sight of flickering orange. They will stay with us from early spring through September. The male visits first, establishes the feeder and then brings his "wife". They will build their nests away from the feeding station. Once the eggs have hatched and the babies (usually two) are big enough to take flight, mom and dad will introduce them to the feeder. By the time they take leave in the Autumn, the babies will be teenagers.
Oh how I adore Springtime!
In celebration of the upcoming Vernal Equinox, I am offering free shipping on my three favorite prints from my Art Shop... When purchasing, mention that you read about the sale on my blog and I will add a free ACEO print of your choice.
Here are the three Springtime prints:
Little Bertie in the Garden
Rabbit's Unexpected Party
Dancing Fiona
Until Next Time:

Hi Kim and thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Your art work is darling! I just love bunnies...real, painted, stuffed, any way they come. They are the sweetest of all creatures!
You live down the dusty trail? Lucky you! I live in megatropolis probably not too far away, but then California is a huge state.
Have a fun evening!
xoxo Cori
Oh Bertie and Fiona...SO CUTE:)
hooray for Spring! I'm slowly feeling alive again!!! xoxo...jenn
I too adore Springtime but I look for the hummingbirds and they have been back since the first week of March. they, too, send the male out first and then the females follow. they have been buzzing around the honeysuckle for several days. I love it.
