I was working on this today.  It is the last panel in chapter 5 of Anne of Herringbone Hall, a middle-grade graphic novel.  This is the underwater laboratory of Anne's inventor father.  In the previous panel he has handed her a slice of seaweed pie.  Eventually it will get some limited color, but, at least for now it is black-and-white.

Some more work from a version of Cinderella I drew for Japanese publisher Hikari no Kuni many years ago. At the time I'd been researching the French Revolution a great deal and had large stock pile of art references of the late 18th Century. The setting is very much the dying days of the Ancien Régime, so sadly Cinders and Prince Charming may not have had long to enjoy their happiness!

Here are a couple of princess images I created.  One was for a Halloween book and features my daughter with her friends and cousin. The other is a spread from A Little Princess which I stepped in to illustrate for another illustrator when she could not meet the deadline...I'm glad I took the job!

This Land Is Your Land by Catherine Ciocchi, published by Arbordale Publishing, and illustrated by me, Cathy Morrison
December's theme is WINTER! So here's a wintery scene from This Land Is Your Land which came out early 2015. The author is Catherine Ciocchi and the book is about exploring the Earth with land forms.

A hill slopes up above the ground.
The rounded top looks like a mound.
Rolling hills are what you see
when they are in a group of three.
