13. Stampin’ Up!

I just thought I’d share another little something that’s been making me smile.  I’ve always wanted a personal address stamp but never got around to putting something together… besides that, it’s difficult coming up with something that I’d like to see printed over and over again.  Well, I finally made one and I’ve been stamping everything I can get my hands on.  I love this little bugger :) .  Maybe I’ll make in an annual thing to come up with a new address stamp… hehehe!

14. Sketchoholics Anonymous #4 – Princess in Peril!

It’s week 4!  The topic I chose this week is Princess in Peril or Damsel in Distress.  I hope it inspires some fun drawings!  Next week I’ve asked a fellow sketchoholic to do a sketch and choose the topic and it sounds like they’re doing it!  I’ll post more about it next week but I’m so excited about including other artists in this contest series (even if we’re not so famous :) .

15. Sketchoholics Anonymous #3 – Two heads!

I’m a little behind with these posts.  The contests are still a lot of fun for me.  The other artists on Sketchoholics are really cranking out some fun drawings!  Here is the prize for last week.  The topic was ‘two heads’.

17. Sketchoholics Anonymous

Whoa!  Looks like this blog has been on vacation… what’s going on here?  Lots!

I’m here today to mention that I’m hosting a few contests over on Sketchoholic.com.  I’ve missed the weekly competitions over there.  It’s really nice to be part of a community of artists who just want to draw together!  I decided it was about time I gave back a little and so that’s what I’m doing!  I’ve been inking some 4×6 drawings as prizes and so far I have enough for 4 contests.

‘Monster Portrait’ was the first contest and it’s nearly wrapped up.  It’s been fun to see all of the variations on the theme!  Here is the prize for this contest…

If you are interested in checking out the next contest it should start Monday of next week!  Visit Sketchoholic.com and look for the icon at the top of this post.  I’m calling the series ‘Sketchoholics Anonymous’ so come on out and join me for some drawing!

Melinda!  Congratulations, Melinda and thank-you for sharing your favorite holiday food which is your Grandmommies Pumpkin Pie!  I’d have to say that pumpkin pie is one of my personal favorites too so it’s good to know that this drawing will be going to a fellow pie-lover!  If you don’t get an email from me please contact me via this website with your mailing address so I can send you the watercolor!

Thanks to everyone who entered my little contest.  I’ve really enjoyed promoting Cop’s Christmas and meeting people at the book signings.  Thank-you to everyone for all of the support :) .

Hey guys!

I’ve wanted to do this for a looong time so I’m finally going to do it!  I’m starting a piece of original Santa Cop themed art and I’m going to raffle it off right here!  If you want to see my progress you can check back once in a while and click on the CONTEST tab up above or meet me at one of my two book signings and I’ll bring it along. I think the odds are pretty good so why not enter!

All you have to do is leave a comment on this posting telling me your favorite holiday food (be sure your correct email address is entered in as well).  All I have to do is complete an illustration before December 10th, 2010 because that is when I will have the drawing and contact the winner!

Good luck!!

Please try to keep it to one comment per person.  I’ll be using a random number generator to generate the number of the winning comment!
