Always one to think a little differently, here's my submission for the SFG theme, "Up." It's Dan Aykroyd as Ray Stance in Ghostbusters. When they get to Dana's apartment, Ray finds a set of stairs and asks, "Hey, where do these stairs go!?" The response? "They go up!" Always loved that little joke. For more of my stuff, simply click on the image. Hope y'all digs! Comments welcome.

What better to illustrate "up" than a pair of wings and a crazed bird shooting flames? (I was mostly having fun with the existing photo in my sketchbook, and wanted to work in the Up theme somehow- I just kept thinking "wings! wings because it's a bird and wings mean flying and flying is up"

I drew this when I was living near San Francisco. There is no way you can capture the majestic redwoods within a 8.5 x 11 sketchbook.
SFG: UP!
I'm personally challenging each and every one of you to participate this week!
Be sure to add the appropriate label to your entry - SFG: UP!
The next challenge begins Monday, February 9th, 2009.
The SFG Challenge was created to challenge every member to stretch their creative muscles, venture outside of their artistic boundaries and post their interpretations each week on a specific theme. You are enthusiastically encouraged to participate!
Nerd Alert! This is awesome dude! My favorite movie of all time, hands down! See you on the side!
