I attended a lovely Art Open tonight at Krab Jab Studio-

Gorgeous traditional work by some of my favorite illustrators.

There was a nice crowd checking out the show and chatting with each other-

-a collection of classically illustrated books upon which this art is based -

The art was fabulous (you can see more of the show here).

There were nibbles and wine, and even an astonishingly gorgeous opera singer providing a magical ambiance.

A couple of my favorite show artists were in attendence. Here, the lovely and uber-talented Terese Nielsen-

- and the fabulous Echo Chernik (along with her darling girls).
