The Pika Package Project is a very unique collaborative effort. It involves around 40 artists a month, one super-energetic woman named Amy (who organizes the project, picks the artists, photographs the goods, assembles the packges, publishes a magazine, and... and... well you get the picture).
But last but not least, it involves YOU, because YOU have the opportunity to WIN one of two August 2008 Pika Packages! What is a Pika Package? Each package consists of a FUN BUNCH bunch of art goods from a combination of the contributing artists - independent artists from all over the world. (Drool drool.) So whaddya waiting for?? Get on over to Pika Land and post a comment to be entered into the two drawings! But before you do, read the big ol' link below first.
Your comment has to include a mention of your favorite item(s) from one of the participating artists' Etsy shop (the links are easily accessible for you on this page). See. Not hard at all!
I am proud to be a contributing Pika Package artist this month!! :) Please do pop on over there to see what I contributed and also to comment and enter the prize package drawings! It is just that easy, folks.
While you are there, be sure to download the Pika Package August 2008 'Zine, which is beautifully designed, and chock full of interviews of all the contributing artists, including beautiful photos of the fine things they donated to the Pika Package August 2008. (Yes, I am in there too!) So please check it out!! The magazine is big and lime green and black/white, and you can't miss it on this page. (It's just below the fold.) And all you have to do is click on it to start the PDF download.
Good luck!!! :)
