I like the colors and I think the shadows work fine. In your sketches I like the first one with the bow in her hair on the bottom. I think she could look more "beautiful" if you made her nose less prominent. You have done a wonderful job of rendering a Snow White who fits your style.

You know that old cliché - beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think you have a recognizable character and are definitely on the right track!

I think it's your fantastic style! It works. I agree with Wendy. This is your style at it's best. I really love the white against all that shadow and background. The scene in which she eats the apple is a kind of dark scene anyway and this lends to that quality. I think you did a great job!!!

You are very funny, Krisztina (I LOVE drawing people; my aliens would come out very weird)! I think you've got something that will definitely work. It fits your style very well and works well with the story -- there's no mistaking that it's her. I agree with lyon about the first sketch being my favorite, but your style is what is most important and you know what works best.

Our super Hero looks great. The color palette is fresh and new. Enjoyed the story board very much. I love to see that part of the project because it's all about mapping out and turning pages. It's shaping up very, very nicely.

Krisztina, I really love your cricket character - from the first time I saw him on your blog - and it's so exciting to see these new drawings, developing him as a character...

He is so unique - and I am excitied to see more pictures and learn more about this wonderful cricket!!

I just had to add: I love so much his two arms - playing the violin with two bows - and also his dreamy, far-away expression as he plays the music - it's just fantastic:-)

Your bears are so cute.
I agree that we should be responsible about our planet, but don't worry tooo much about the polar bears plight. Political hype is using bad data to stir the people up. I work with geologists every day (my day job) and they all agree that the lone polar bear with the shrinking glacier in "An Inconvenient Truth" is a falacy. Real science shows that we need to act responsibly, but not to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

thank you Mitchowl, these are really good news! it's so difficult to orientate between too much rumours... i've just seen an exhibition of worldpress photos this week and polarbears' plight was one of the themes - this picture shows how scients marked them and decided to give forth polarbears as 'imperiled species'. i hope you're right and it's just a political exaggeration! thanks for your words!

How funny is this. Bear, Bear and Bear! This is wonderful. I find it so amazing how you create these delicious mood with your brush and colors. It's truly a treat for the eyes.

Oh I love this!! - and it's so sad too, these two polar bears having to travel to find a shelter for the night. I love so much the way you portray these animals - they are so sweet, but also just so full of unique character. Beautiful illustration:-)

thank you! this guard over the frog's eyes is a supersecret awning with a supersecret force. he can read on its inside the news about storks' flying plan :) (of course it can be open!)
