This weekend is my 30th high school reunion. Next week I'll see my old college boyfriend, the one I spent a couple of years thinking I would marry. Now we haven't seen each other for half a lifetime.
I think it's too late to pull off a miraculous weight loss, huge book contract (although I'm trying!), really great triceps, or even flawless makeup or a pedicure.
Everyone's just going to have to take me as I am.
Maybe that's the good thing about getting older. Because I'm okay with that.
