A little boy hanging out in the swamp hears some scary noises, and before it he knows it he's running from a monster! He hides up in a tree, where he's subsequently joined by a plethora of siblings and cousins who are sent to get him for bed, but end up having to hide from the monster too.
"Then out crept a shadow from the swampy place.
We were scared till we saw our older brother's face
He said, 'Ma said to fetch you 'cause it's time for bed!'
'Quick! Hide! There's a monster in the swamp!' we said."
