1. Children's Book

Sorry for the slight «hors contexte» of my post; I have taken the liberty to show you my interpretation (quite literal) of Children's book. This is the first painting of a series I have started not long ago (the second is almost finished, the third is visualized in my head well enough ) about books and kids. I don't know how to name it yet, and the title «Books and kids» seem somewhat too... blah? Got some suggestions for me? :)

Here is some blogging about it.

2. Meet Tokyo

Here's an Illustration based on my Kitty Tokyo. The only difference is that my cat is black, but I thought that white was a better choice art-wise. I am doing a series right now about childhood's best buddies and have also done illustrations with a doxie and a bunny. You can see them here, along with a pic of Tokyo :) Thanks for your input!

4. Glass

Monday Artday: Glass, originally uploaded by psychopooch.

For this week's challenge-Glass. I've got fish on my mind lately. Maybe it's cuz the Mermaid Parade is coming up this weekend over at Coney Island.

Btw, I'm really liking the way illustrator and photoshop work together these days. This started out in illustrator. It was then imported into photoshop as vector so the reflection could be fine tuned.

6. Explosion of Color

Hi everyone! I just joined, and I'm so happy to be here. I love finding new places to share challenges with. I'm still coming up with ideas for this weeks task but for the moment I just wanted to share an illustration that I finished today and have fallen in love with. This is a mixed media work of ink, colored pencil and marker on 300gsm watercolor paper.
