1. sting portrait

an attempt to do a portrait of someone famous. colour pencils, not watercolour pencils this time, i tried some new ones. i need more practice, that equals TIME. later i'll if i can find who the rights of the origunal pic belong to, then add it here, as obviously i didn't take it ;)

2. And another bear…

Yes, it's another bear. I just can't help it. I still need to tweak this a bit. It needs wind and rain, but I don't want to mess it up. I am currently working on a penguin and a Santa which are definitely not bears.

3. Pixie Garden in Progress


It's spring break and we've spent it at Gramma & Grampa's—my kids favorite vacation spot, luckily it's only 15 minutes away. Hubby's been working hard for us out of town. As a result of this and my parents' wonderful cul-de-sac, I've been able to paint all week. The kids are too busy on their wheels to worry about what Mom's up to. Here's a sneak preview of what I'm painting (as is coloring with color pencils). Still not sure what to call that activity. Coloring sounds too preschool.
