'Tis the season for giving and I would like to thank readers of Into the Wardrobe. I am giving away a $20 Amazon gift card!* (I initially wanted to give away a book, but I am so lame I couldn't decide which book to give away. This way the winner can choose which book to get!)
To enter this giveaway, all you have to do is answer these questions in the comments section below:

What a totally fun gift.
1. I would get Jessica Day George's Dragon Flight and her Princess of the Midnaight Ball.
2.I want to read it because I loved Dragon Slippers and Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow.
3.For me all book purchases are twofold in purpose in that they are a gift to me personally, and a gift to my kids who I read to every night. This is one of the things we do to stay close to eachother, cuddling under blankets while we enter exciting new worlds created by writers.

I would get The Hunger Games, as a gift for my awesome sister!
If I got the card, I'd probably get a book I've been eyeing wistfully in my library's bookstore, Tales for Little Rebels: A Collection of Children's Literature, ed. by Julia Mickenberg and Philip Nel. I really enjoyed their other books and I had cousins who grew up on these kinds of books so I'm curious to see what they read (smile). Then I'd give it to my library so other people could read it too.
Since that book is more history of children's literature, I'm also very tempted by The Unknown Witches of Oz: Locasta and the Three Adepts, by Dave Hardenbrook. I have a collection of Oz books and I hadn't heard of this new book before so I'd like to read it and see if it sounds properly Ozzy. Some of the current Oz authors really don't do a good job of conveying the magic of Oz. Others like Eric Shanower are fabulous. And this one I'd keep for my collection.

I would get "Good Enough" by Paula Yoo because I want to relive my high school years, but only to a certain extent. I never want to feel that lost again. :-) I also really enjoyed your interview with Paula.
I would buy the book for myself because as you very well know, dear Tarie, that is how books get turned into movies.
What a great contest! My choice would be A CURSE AS DARK AS GOLD by Elizabeth Bunce because I'm intrigued with her story's fairytale premise. (I'm a big myths and fairytales geek--what can I say?) The book would be for me but I'd be happy to share it with others! :-)

If I won I'd buy Shel Silversteins's "Where the Sidewalk Ends".
I had that book as a child and I loved it well into my teens. Shel Silverstein is timeless, you can read him as an adult and appreciate the wit in his books.
I'd gift the book to my daughter. She's the perfect age for it now and she loves to read. I think she'll love it as much as I do.
I would buy Ryan White; My Own Story and donate it to a local middle school for kids to read!
Its a candid book written by a boy who got AIDS from a transfusion back in the 80s.
I believe that every child should read this.

If I had a thousand pesos, I would get the unabridged version of Jo's Boys from Amazon (I'd need the rest of the money for shipping) because I've wanted to read that last part of the Little Women series forever and it simply is not available in the Philippines, as far as I know.
I'd be getting it as a gift for myself, but I'm dreaming of the day when I can read it to my kids as well, when they're old enough to sit still for half an hour.

2. Aside from the fact that I have Books1 and 2 (InkHeart and InkSpell), I just can't wait to see the ending of the book series. ^^

Hmmm... I'd get 'Time of the Eagle' by Sherryl Jordan.
When I bought Secret Sacrament years ago (and I mean YEARS ago) I was really hoping that the author would write a sequel because it has an interesting story not to mention the nice cover art. I visited the bookstore recently and saw 'Time of the Eagle' and I got really excited.
I'd buy it for me and my girlfriend because we both read Secret Sacrament and I think she would like to read the sequel too :P

1. I would get Other Wind by Ursula K. Le Guin.
2. Because it's the only Earthsea Cycle book I haven't gotten yet (and I found an autographed copy! *sniff*). I'm also planning to use the Earthsea Cycle for my thesis, hehe.
3. It's for myself, but I hope to share it with my siblings and friends. The world and stories of Earthsea really are fascinating!

I'd purchase The tales of Beedle the Bard for my son. He's read all of the Harry Potter books except this one, and I love to see him reading.
1. I would get Tales of Beedle the Bard! (Actually, I really wish I could have the Moonstone edition. LOL!)
