No, I'm not entering an MFA program. Nothing nearly that ambitious!
But I'm happy to say I'm taking a poetry class with Deborah Keenan at the Loft Literary Center. I had heard she was a fabulous teacher, and I tried to get into her spring class last year, but it filled up before I knew my travel schedule.
I've only had one week of class (and I'll miss a week or two due to school visits), but I'm loving the class and plan to soak up every bit of information and inspiration that I can. I feel fortunate to live in a city with lots of educational opportunities like this, and I'm hoping my poetry expands as a result of this class.
Now, I'm off to do some homework, since I need to share a poem tomorrow for workshopping! I love being in "school!"

I love it too!! Hubby isn't saying whether he likes it or not. I'm guessing no, but he's great about letting me do my thing.
