Jamie Coville has, as always, recorded the best of the panels from TCAF, including a shocking number in which I participated. YOU can hear the audio of the panels here and the DWAs here. The DWAs are notable for the extraordinary remembrance that Seth offered or Dawwyn Cooke and also the induction of James Simpkins into the Giants […]

The Doug Wright Awards for Canadian cartooning are hosting another annual art auction to help raise funds. This year, the line-up of Canadian comic art is (mostly) inspired by DC Comics. Check out Chester Brown’s Batman. I want an entire book that looks like that.
The auction is now live and features pieces by Chester Brown, Jillian Tamaki, Joe Ollman, Michael Cho, Bryan Lee O’Malley, Kate Beaton, Marc Bell, Jeff Lemire, Lynn Johnston, Diana Tamblyn, and Drawn’s own Matt Forsythe and myself.
