Wow, this amazing shot was taken yesterday by my friend Mary Helen while she was driving past Carmel River Beach. She knows how much I'm missing the area so she sends me sky shots when she can. This is a beauty! Thanks for letting me post it today Mary Helen ;)
For more beautiful sky shots from our planet, please go to Skywatch Friday!

It is a beautiful sky! I can see why you'd miss the view. The clouds look like watercolors.
Wow, great sky shot. Would love to see your list of what you miss and what you gained by moving to RI.
That's really beautiful.
Awesome photo, as someone said above it looks like a watercolor painting.
The Road to Here
spectacular! it's now wonder you miss this place so much.
Happy Friday!
It IS beautiful. Wish I was there, too.
No wonder you miss this area. I bet it feels weird being in the East again. It sounds like you will be snowed in this weekend according to the weather channel.
Soooooo beautiful!
Wonderful photo!
Merry Xmas!
A stunning sky! I miss the Ocean as well, after moving to the interior of BC. But there are some fantastic sunsets and sunrises here. Different from the Ocean sky, yet just as awe-inspiring in its own way.
Hi dear
Can imagine you miss that area!
But I bet you will find beautiful skies at RI too!
