1. Yianni Johns, Scott Levi on ABC Central Coast & Always Jack

Australia Day Ambassadors Susanne Gervay, Yianni Johns artist ABC Radio Arts Central CoastSusanne Gervay OAM, Yianni Johns, proud to be Australia Day AmbassadorsYianni Johns is the ABC Radio Central Coast,  Arts presenter, an artist and a fellow Australia Day Ambassador  which we both LOVE!

We had fun this afternoon in the fishbowl in Erina – the glass window is exposed to shoppers and passer-bys – so everyone sees you.  Scott Levi is a great interviewer and has a great banter with Yianni.

Chatted about MonkeyBaa Theatre’s ‘I AM JACK’ at the Seymour and invited everyone across Australia to support the charity performance of ‘I Am Jack’ for The Alannah & Madeline Foundation, keeping children safe from violence – 7 p.m. 4th November at Seymour [email protected].

Cancer Council endorses Susanne Gervay's 'Always Jack'As Breast Cancer Month comes to a close, it was fitting to talk about ‘Always Jack’ which is endorsed by the Cancer Council – making it safe for kids, parents and community to talk about cancer and celebrate life.

I AM JACK by Susanne Gervay, endorsed by Room to Read www.roomtoread.org, The Alannah & Madeline Foundation, MonkeyBaa TheatreSusanne Gervay's Always Jack, illustrated by Cathy Wilcox, Cancer Council endorsement, National breast & Ovarian Cancer Centre, Cancer Australia, Australian Family Therapists' Award 2011, Cathy Wilcox illustrator 'Always Jack', publisher HarperCollins Australia

2. Luna Park and Australia Day Ambassadors-Allanah Zitserman, co founder of Dongong Film Festival & MC for the event

A stunning morning on Sydney harbour at Luna Park for the Australia Day launch of the winners of the Australia Day photograph and film awards- capturing the spirit of who we are.

There were over 3500 entries for the Australia Day photographic competition with evocative, funny, moving photos. There were so many people there – actors, media personalities, sports people, leaders in most fields, writers.

The talented Allanah Zitersman was the MC – she is the co founder of the Dungog Film Festival – www.dungogfilmfestival.org

Excited to meet the gifted artist Yianni Johns who doubles as the ABC Radio Arts Presenter ABC Central Coast. He interviewed me for ‘That’s Why I Wrote This Song’ on ABC on the Central Coast when it came out. it was a warm and thoughtful interview.

Check out Yianni’s artwork – he’s exhibited in New York and has more exhibitions in the USA ahead.
