Back to the drawing board for an artist means catching up on advances in digital imaging, even if one would rather stay fixed on brush and paint. So many things are possible now that once looked like magic, or at least the sole proprietorship of boffins and computer geeks. So I am back to school, in a way, online and learning new things that first confound and then delight.
In addition to my illustration work I teach classes in watercolour painting. The picture above is from one of my recent lessons.

IT frustrating? I am not sure if patience is
my strongest attribute but perseverance may well be. I have battled with
my printer for years and every now and then I spend yet another hour or
2 or 3 trying to make it do what I need. I finally had victory this
morning after another 2 hours of frustration and search the internet for
troubleshooting. I figured it out, adjusted all the settings

I adopted a new baby two days ago. My 12 week old Toy Poodle is the apple of mummy's eye and in the spirit of this week's new arrival I did a watercolour for a friend’s 50th artist collection piece. Our Valley 10 group all have a collection of paintings from each member, received for one of their big "0" birthdays. I received my collection of paintings when I was 30. Christine is the last and
The most wonderful aspect of God is his heart to give good things to his
children. He does this through those who are led by their hearts and
make an effort to reach out to others. The world is so full of need and

less fortunate than ourselves.

Our little people (children) feel so small at times. Take the time to stop and notice them. Eye contact is a communication skill we all need to adopt more. When a child has your full attention it says "You are important to me, more important than anything else"

I am SCARED but am so going
to try to do this but I am terrible usually doing a daily project everyday over
a long period if I am not being paid. I am always cramming. This is a great
idea to brainstorm ideas for manuscripts. It can be as small as a heading but
gets you going (a bit like a blank canvas I guess).
The signup date is closed
now but anyone who wanted to try it still could do it
Super adorable! Both girl and puppy. Ok, the puppy is slightly more extremely adorable. Really cute and happy scene, nice!
Thanks Cindy. I was looking over your cards too. I love the elephant and the sheeps especially!
