Ok, I actually did this one back in March, but it's the most recent finished work I have, and it has in fact, never been seen online before today. If you're interested in specs, I'll post on A Certain Lack of Focus just as soon as I'm done with this post.

Last week when I saw that the SFG was sketch, I was thrilled because I figured I'd finally have time to participate. Guess not. Better late than never? Here's my Mech Tree sketch:

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who's be influenced by Brian Froud. Here's a caricature I did of him a while ago:
I was trying to imitate the style he uses in books like the Goblin Companion, loose and sepia toned. The background is white not grey, that's just the photo quality.

I haven't posted anything here in ages because I've been preparing for my wedding, but I thought the wedding invitation fit this week's topic:
The inside says "First comes love," followed by all the wedding info. (we got married at the zoo!) We got back from the honeymoon on Sunday (just in time to vote) and if anyone is interested, I'm posting honeymoon journal pages on my blog.
