I can imagine John Cleese being like that. He's probably not easy to direct either. But perfectionism seems to totally work for him.
I just remember watchin MP in the '70s and laughing hysterically from the opening to the very end... my room-mate would say: "Susan , what's so funny that's just the opening credits...?" Ok, so I was a little under the influence...I can appreciate the writing better now.
Interesting-- I think perfectionism paralyzes most people. Under the influence or not-- they crack me up every time! Thank goodness for Monty Python!!! :-D
