This is an illustration I just finished for one of Jennifer Poulter's poster poems. The inner me was always daydreaming and trying to work out the world in my mind.

I had this done as a line drawing in ink in my portfolio and I always meant to work it in color. So, this was my opportunity.

This was a fast piece (under an hour) done with a loose pen drawing and then gouache. I tried a couple of detailed fairy drawings but they are elusive little creatures. So, this was a last ditch effort to participate. As w/all improv, there's quite a bit of risk involved.
