For the past year, I’ve been a part-time art teacher at a public elementary school in Brooklyn. This is my last week with my wonderful 1st through 5th grade students. I’m really going to miss them, so I made them a coloring page as a goodbye gift:
I always encourage my students to use their imagination and do more than color in the lines, but this week I gave the freedom to free-draw and/or color this in. Here’s some 3rd grade work:
