1. Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev

Reposting The Review of Eyes Like Stars.

I love this novel to much and as celebrating the release of Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev in the 7th. of July; here is my review...

Author:LisaMantchev
Reading level: Ages 9-12
Hardcover: 368 pages
Publisher: Feiwel & Friends
Language: English

All her world’s a stage.

Bertie Shakespeare Smith is not an actress, yet she lives in a theater.
She’s not an orphan, but she has no parents.
She knows every part, but she has no lines of her own.
That is, until now.
Enter Stage Right

NATE. Dashing pirate. Will do anything to protect Bertie.

COBWEB, MOTH, MUSTARD SEED, and PEASEBLOSSOM. Four tiny and incredibly annoying fairies. BERTIE’S sidekicks.

ARIEL. Seductive air spirit and Bertie’s weakness. The symbol of impending doom.

BERTIE. Our heroine.

Welcome to the Théâtre Illuminata, where the actors of every play ever written can be found behind the curtain. They were born to play their parts, and are bound to the Théâtre by The Book—an ancient and magical tome of scripts. Bertie is not one of them, but they are her family—and she is about to lose them all and the only home she has ever known.

Lisa Mantchev has written a debut novel that is dramatic, romantic, and witty, with an irresistible and irreverent cast of characters who are sure to enchant the audience.
Open Curtain

My Review:
“All the world is her stage”
This is the story of Britce, she lives in the theater but do not belong to the theater; which all the characters comes to life not only the stage but they live together and act and react outside there plays.
All what has been written in The Book keeps the magic alive as so the theater.

I love this book so much, I really enjoyed reading it.
Starting from the amazing reactions of the characters outside the plays; till the story of Britce herself and how she want to stay in the theater even though she do not belong there; it’s her home and she has to keep it safe and never let a hand touch The Book.
I also loved the passion and the kisses.

I give it 5 out of 5.
Also my Message to Lisa:
I've done reading your novel. Magic of the Theater making my feeling high. I love it and I will give it a 5 even I wanted a 4 *cause I get lost sometimes bwtween the events* but hey I am the one who get lost so 5 it will be.P.S. About the characters. Every Shakspeares fan will never get lost and also if you never read one play by him you will still enjoy the characters and be a fan of you and Mr.Shakseaper.I am so amazed by the idea of making the character live and act outside the plays. We use to see the written acts but not how the character would act or feel about there lives. You give a heart beat for a question always wondered in my head "what the characters do after the curten falls?"
