The climate of Britain is more or less the same as that of the north-western part of the European mainland. The popular belief that it rains all the time in Britain is simply not true. London gets no more rain in a year than most other major European cities, and less than some.

The amount of rain that falls on a town in Britain depends on where it is. Generally speaking, the further west you go, the more rain you get. The mild winters mean that snow is a regular feature of the higher areas only. Occasionally, a whole winter goes by without any snow at all.

The winters are in general a bit colder in the east of the country than they are in the west, while in summer, the south is slightly warmer and sunnier than the north.

Why has Britain's climate got such a bad reputation? Perhaps it is for the same reason that British people always seem to be talking about the weather. This is its changeability. There is a saying that Britain doesn't have a climate, it only has weather. It may not rain very much altogether, but you can never be sure of a dry day; there can be cool days in July and some quite warm days in January.

The lack of extremes is the reason why the country seems to be totally unprepared for hot or cold days. A bit of snow and a few days of frost and the trains stop working and the roads are blocked; if the thermometer goes above 27 °C, people behave as if they were in the Sahara and the temperature makes front-page headlines. These things happen so rarely that it is not worth organizing life to be ready for them.

The Vampire Diaries; The Awakening

Elena: the golden girl, the leader, the one
who can have any boy she wants…

Stefan: brooding and mysterious, he seems to
be the only one who can resist Elena, even as he struggles to protract her from
the horrors that haunt his past.

Damon: sexy, dangerous, and driving by an
urge for revenge against Stefan, the brother who betrayed him. Determined to
have Elena, he'd kill to possess her.

 

 

My Review;

I'm deeply in love with The Vampire
Dairies books even if they are totally different from the TV series but still
amazing in their very own way; as for a beginning Elena after her parents death
is keeping herself together, we may see she is still the same cheer leader who
has it all but deep inside she is in deep grief over her terrible lost. She is
the person who is showing her "I'm alright face" just to make the world keeps on
moving.

Stefan is a mystery on his own the guy
who has been alone until her found a reason to have a different look towards the
world. While is brother is back for revenge and stealing Stefan's love until now
only hate is driving Damon to live, hate is his higher reason.

 

The Plot is so believe and the story is
smooth and breath taker raveling mystery one step at the time; Elena's love for
Stefan came   so softy but yet so strong. we have not seen a lot of
Damon's character except that he balms Stefan for the death of Katharine and he
will have Elena with no questions.

 

I'm in love with the dialog and with
every "0h!" that L. J. Smith added. Stefan seamed so realistic guy from the
15th. century; that's how they talked with a poetic Shakespearean way. so hail
to L. J. SMITH the mistress of words.

Great review! I like these books too, but ya know something, the writing style has changed alot since these book were written. I was thinking about that the other day. L.J. Smith doesn't allow the characters to lament too long the way alot of authors do now. She's constantly pushing the action.
The only thing I don't like about them is that Elena, (to me) seems a bit to selfcentered.

Anyways... Loved the review, can't wait to read more! =)

Yes, I can see that Elena is so selfcentered and that seamed to happen for girls in the 90th our current days have changed alot when it comes to the teen character.

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens became a very interesting 3D Movie that's a copy of the novel but by motion pictures from Disney.
I've really enjoyed every part of it and cried 3 times but still the lessones from it and the ending are priceless :) ...

I've been excited for the movie since 4 monthes and I've finally watched it.
I do have a 3D Mania which is amazing ;) .
I've invited my lovely BFF for the moive which happenes to be a Boy who wanted to "Off My Head" as the Red Queen always say.

For real it been quite a lovely journy as Alice is now 19 and a lady who still see the world with a childe's eyes; people all around think she must behave as she is not a little girl any more but Alice goes again on her way, Fail into a Rabbit's Hall and the journy begines in The Undergroud.
This time Alice has a bigger Quest and the whole Wonderland countes on her to be there hero. Can she be the wrong Alice and give up or she is going to prove herslef?

Also I would love to say; they picked the right cast, director and craw for this film.

Johnny Depp is my favorite Mad Hatter ever "Death for the Red Bloody Queen" :) ...


The film is so amazing and you must hurry and watch it.

5 out of 5 for an A+ Graded
