1. Frank the Pig Goes to the Fair

Continued from last week....

The next day, Samuel and Frank the Pig went to the county fair and the judges were about to start judging Frank the Pig for the “Best Pig in the County Contest” when his owner stooped down on one knee to console his barn animal.
“Now, Frank,” said Samuel, “don’t be nervous about today or winning this contest. I love you no matter what happens and that is what’s important. This contest is just for fun. Okay, old pal?” He stood up and patted his large pig on the head. “Go get ‘em boy!”
A few moments later the judges were looking at Frank and scribbling some things on their contest boards when Frank the Pig began to raise his two front feet from the ground, putting all his body weight on his two back legs.
“Oh, my!” cried one of the judges, “have you ever seen such a sight?”
Frank the Pig loudly squealed and snorted while on his two back legs with his front feet high in the air.
“Ladies and Gentleman,” shouted one of the judges into a microphone. “The winner of “The Best Pig in the County Contest” goes to Frank the Pig and his owner Samuel!”
“Yea!” everyone cheered as they ran up to pet Frank the Pig on the head.
A few hours later, Frank the Pig was home lying on a bed of hay in the barn. All his friends lay fast asleep. They were tired from celebrating Frank’s victory at the fair that day. As Frank the Pig thought of new tricks to learn to impress the judges next year, he drifted into a dreamy sleep.
The End…
