3. A Birthday Party for Mrs. Wolf

Mr. Turtle lived in Marysville Forest in a large log home by himself. Today was a very exciting day because he was planning a birthday party for his friend, Mrs. Wolf.
Mrs. Wolf was a very good friend of Mr. Turtle’s. She was his mail carrier and his cooking teacher who Mr. Turtle took cooking lessons from. Mr. Turtle was so grateful for all that she had taught him that he wanted to throw her a surprise birthday party.
Mrs. Wolf would be so surprised. He had invited all of her friends in the forest and had sent out invitations the week before. Now, Mr. Turtle was going through the responses to the invitations. All of Mrs. Wolf’s friends in the forest had replied that they would come.
Mr. Turtle was excited and he had a lot to do before the party.
First, Mr. Turtle made up a list of ingredients he would need to make the food for the party. Then he made up a list of all the supplies he would need and set out for the market.
A few hours later, Mr. Turtle arrived home with the supplies and food he needed. He began unpacking all the items from their bags and started chopping up veggies and cooking.
The next day, Mr. Turtle called Mrs. Wolf to ask her if she wanted to go for a walk with him in the forest. Mrs. Wolf agreed to go and meet Mr. Turtle at his house. When she got there, she knocked on his door. Mr. Turtle answered and they started their walk through the forest.
On their walk, Mr. Turtle and Mrs. Wolfe were nearing a tree on the walking path. Behind the tree were all of Mrs. Wolf’s party guests waiting to surprise her. When Mrs. Wolf and Mr. Turtle walked around the tree all the guests jumped out and shouted, “Surprise!” as loud as they could and began clapping.
“Oh, my goodness!” shouted Mrs. Wolf. “What is all of this?” Then Mrs. Wolf looked up to see a big sign that read, “Happy Birthday, Mrs. Wolf” in big red letters. “Oh, my goodness! Bless your hearts!” replied Mrs. Wolf as all her friends gathered around to wish her happy birthday.
Later, during Mrs. Wolf’s party, Mrs. Wolf went to Mr. Turtle and gave him a hug, then turned to all her friends and tapped on her glass to get everyone’s attention.
“Hello, everyone. I would like to thank you for coming to celebrate my birthday today and I would like to especially thank my best student for throwing me this party. To Mr. Turtle!” said Mrs. Wolf as she hugged Mr. Turtle again and kissed him on the cheek. “Thank you, my friend, for this wonderful party!”

4. Marla the Cow meets Doug and Sean:

Marla was a cow who lived on a farm in the county with her friends, Frank the Pig, and Quackers and Pricilla who were ducks.
One day as Frank the Pig was taking a mud bath and Marla the cow was eating long grasses nearby, Pricilla and Quackers came running up quacking in excitement.
“Quack, Quack, Quack!” came the two excited ducks as they ran up to Frank the Pig and Marla.
“Oh my, what is it?” asked Marla in alarm. “What’s happened?”
“We found two animals!” shouted Pricilla. “We have to help them!”
“They are stuck under a fence and I think they may be hurt,” Quackers told Marla and Frank the Pig. “We must help them. Follow us.”
Marla helped Frank the Pig out of his large mud hole and they both followed the two ducks to a wire fence where two brown furry animals were struggling.
“Oh, my goodness! You poor animals,” cried Marla as they approached the two brown furry creatures. “Here, let me help you.” She picked up the fence and lifted it as high as she could so the two little creatures could hobble out from underneath it.
“Let me help, too,” said Frank the Pig as he scooped up the two little creatures that were having trouble walking.
“You two are hurt. We must take you back to the farm and clean you up,” insisted Marla as she looked at the two injured animals.
“No, we are okay,” spoke one of the animals. “Thank you kindly for all your assistance. but we should be fine.”
“No, I must insist,” replied Marla.
“That’s right,” said Frank the Pig. “You two are mighty hurt and need care.
“Well, if you insist,” said the animal as it held its hurt arm.
“Come, follow us,” said the two little ducks as they began quacking and walking towards the farm.
“Wait,” halted Frank the Pig. “These two little guys can’t walk!”
“Right, we must walk them,” spoke Marla. “Frank, I will put them both on your back and you can walk them back to the farm.”
“A few moments later, the farm animals were all walking toward the farm as Frank the Pig carried the two injured creatures.
“So, what are your names?” asked Frank the Pig to his fellow passengers.
“Oh, I am so sorry, in all the confusion we forgot to exchange names. My name is Sean and this is my best friend Doug. We are groundhogs. We were trying to get under the fence to find some food when we got stuck underneath. Thank goodness your two friends came along because we never would have gotten free.”
“That’s right,” replied Doug. “My arm got hurt when I got stuck under the fence and Sean’s neck is hurt, too!”
“Well, we are going to take you back and clean you both up and give you a good meal. You are welcome to stay for the night if you’d like. I have some lovely hay I can share and some cow feed, of course.”
“Us, too,” cried the others as they walked their two new friends home. “You are welcome to stay!”
“We have plenty of food,” said Frank the Pig as they arrived back at the farm and he put down the two brown animals.
“Thank you,” replied Sean, “but we really should be shoving off soon.”
“Yes, our families will be looking for us,” said Doug. “We have to work the fields tomorrow looking for food. I’m afraid we don’t eat what you all eat, but thanks for the offer.”
“Oh, yes,” replied Marla, “we understand. Maybe next time you’re near our farm you can stop in and we can all play!”
“Why, yes, that’s a wonderful idea. Next time we are near your farm we will definitely drop by,” said Doug as Marla wrapped his wound and Frank the Pig helped Sean with his.
A few hours later, after the groundhog’s wounds had been cl

5. Mr. Turtle Has a Dinner Party

Mr. Turtle lived in Marysville Forest in a log home. He lived by himself and he was taking cooking lessons from his friend, Mrs. Wolf.
They were both in Mr. Turtle’s kitchen making pasta and Mrs. Wolf was giving Mr. Turtle his next cooking instruction.
“Now, Mr. Turtle, we need to drain the water from the pasta. Then we can put the spaghetti sauce on it and we’ll be ready to eat our spaghetti!” exclaimed Mrs. Wolf happily as they began to drain the pasta.
While Mrs. Wolf and Mr. Turtle were eating their spaghetti dinner, Mr. Turtle had an idea.
“Hey, Mrs. Wolf,” he cried. “I have a great idea. I think I will have a dinner party. I love pasta and I would love to cook it for my friends and show them all what I have learned.”
“Why, that’s a great idea, Mr. Turtle, but what will you make?”
“I would like to make Tortellini!” said Mr. Turtle. “Will you teach me to make it?”
“Why of course I will teach you, Mr. Turtle,” replied Mrs. Wolf, “but under one condition.”
“What’s that, Mrs. Wolf?” he asked.
“You will have to invite me to your dinner party,” said Mrs. Wolf as they both laughed.
“Why, of course I will invite you to my dinner party, Mrs. Wolf!” exclaimed Mr. Turtle.
A few days later, Mr. Turtle and Mrs. Wolf were at the market to get the ingredients that they needed to make Tortellini for Mr. Turtle’s dinner party.
After they got what they needed, they went back to Mr. Turtle’s house and began cooking.
“Now, Mr. Turtle,” Mrs. Wolf instructed as she poured salt into the water and waited for it to boil, “when the water boils you will need to pour the tortellini from its package into the boiling water. Then stir it around and set the timer for thirteen minutes.”
“Okay, Mrs. Wolf,” replied Mr. Turtle.
Soon the tortellini was done and Mr. Turtle was ready for his next cooking task.
“The garlic bread is done, Mr. Turtle,” Mrs. Wolf said as she handed Mr. Turtle an oven mitt. “Now what do we do?”
“We take it out of the oven and make sure we turn off the oven,” replied Mr. Turtle.
“That’s right. It’s always good to turn off the oven when your food is done so you don’t forget. I will let you take the garlic bread out and then we will set the table.
Half an hour later the food was done, the table was set and all of Mr. Turtle’s friends were gathered around his delicious feast. Mr. Turtle stood up at the head of the table and raised his glass.
“I want to thank everyone for coming tonight,” said Mr. Turtle to his guests. “I also want to thank the woman whose help brought us this dinner tonight. To my friend and cooking instructor, Mrs. Wolf. Thank you for all your help and wisdom!”
“To Mrs. Wolf!” everyone said as they raised their glasses and looked at Mrs. Wolf, whose cheeks had turned bright red with happiness.
“Now,” said Mr. Turtle to his guests. “Let’s eat! Everyone dig in!”

6. Samuel the Camel meets Betsy-Sue While Wandering the Zoo

“Someone must live here,” Samuel thought to himself. “Hello,” he called. “Hello, is anyone there?”
Just then, the most beautiful creature that Samuel had ever seen wondered out from behind a large willow tree. She had white curly fur and long legs with a long neck just like Samuel’s.
“Are you a camel?” asked Samuel.
“No, I am a Llama,” answered the creature. “My name is Betsy-Sue. What is yours?”
“My name is Samuel and I am a camel,” he replied. “I live here at the zoo and give kids rides on my back.”
“Oh, well if I might say, I think you are a very handsome camel, Samuel,” said Betsy-Sue.
“Why, thank you! I think you are very pretty, too,” replied Samuel. “Can I come in and we can play a game?”
“Sure,” said Betsy-Sue, “I will open the gate for you.” Betsy-Sue strode over to the wooden gate taking long Llama strides and opened the gate for Samuel.
The next morning, the zoo keeper went to get Samuel from his stall and take him to the camel riding center but his stall was empty. The zookeeper couldn’t find Samuel anywhere. Soon the whole zoo was on red alert to find the missing camel.
The busy zoo workers looked everywhere and couldn’t find poor Samuel. They looked in the birds’ aviary and the bears’ den but didn’t see him anywhere.
A few hours later, two zoo workers who were looking for Samuel came to a dead end on the zoo’s path right in front of the Llama’s home.
“Do you see that?” one zoo worker said as he pointed at the Llama’s home.
Both workers looked inside the fence and saw Samuel standing right next to Betsy-Sue. The two workers watched the camel and the Llama intently for a few moments. Then they called the main office at the zoo and told them that they had found the lost camel but that he was having such a good time that they couldn’t separate Samuel from his new friend, Betsy-Sue
From that day on, Samuel and Betsy-Sue were never separated. They played together every day and people would come for miles to see the camel and Llama and hear the remarkable story of how Samuel the Camel met Besty-Sue while wandering the zoo.

7. Samuel the Camel meets Betsy-Sue While Wandering the Zoo

Samuel the Camel loved to give rides to children who come to the zoo.
The kids loved Samuel. They would yell and kick and scream excitedly while they were on his back as he took them around in circles. But Samuel dreamed of something more.
While Samuel walked around in circles he would look around the zoo and wonder what it was like to wander around it. He wanted to see the other animals and meet them. He wanted to play and make friends and see what everyone else saw when they came to the zoo. Samuel couldn’t leave though, because he had a job to do at the zoo and there was never a chance to escape.
One day, when the sun was setting and the zoo was closing for day. The zoo keeper was in a hurry and forgot to tie Samuel’s rope to the ring in his stall.
Samuel knew this was his chance. He looked around to see if anyone was in sight. He didn’t see anyone, so he quietly walked away from his stall and began wandering around the zoo.
All the zoo workers had gone home and the sun had almost set as Samuel started out to make some new friends.
He walked around the zoo and saw all the animals and looked at all the exhibits. He even stopped for a Lollypop at one of the concession stands.
Samuel had so much fun. He laughed and played with the snakes, the monkeys, the birds, the lions, and the bears. He even made friends with some of the pigs from the petting zoo for kids.
At last Samuel came to a dead end on the zoo’s path and he looked up and saw a sign that read Llamas.
“Someone must live here,” Samuel thought to himself. “Hello,” he called. “Hello, is anyone there?”

8. Mr. Turtle Meets Stewart the Frog

One nice day Mr. Turtle decided to take a long walk through Marysville Forest. When he reached the pond he was tired, so he found a tree stump to sit down on close to the pond.
He had been sitting comfortably for a few moments when he heard a voice speak to him.
“Hello,” greeted a little voice.
“Yes, hello,” replied Mr. Turtle. “Who’s there? Where are you?”
“Over here,” said the small voice.
Mr. Turtle looked in the direction of the voice but he just saw the pond.
“Where?” he asked, “I don’t see anyone.”
“Look, down here, inside the pond,” replied the voice.
Mr. Turtle got off the tree stump and walked over to the pond and looked in it. There he saw a little tadpole swimming around looking up at him.
“Oh, I see you now,” said Mr. Turtle. “You are such a little thing, aren’t you?”
“Yes, sir,” answered the tadpole. “I am a tadpole but one day I will be a big frog.”
“I suppose you will,” said Mr. Turtle. “What is your name?
“My name is Stewart,” replied the little tadpole. “What is yours?”
“I am Mr. Turtle,” answered Mr. Turtle. “At least, that’s what my friends call me.”
The little tadpole laughed. “That was funny,” he said.
“Thanks, little friend,” replied Mr. Turtle. “What are you up to today?”
“Not much,” replied Stewart. “You see, I don’t have any family. I am on my own. I am waiting to turn into a big frog, but if you’d like you can come visit me again and we can talk. I get lonely out here by myself.”
“Why, I would love to visit again,” said Mr. Turtle, happy to have found a new friend. “I will come again tomorrow!”
Mr. Turtle came back the next day to visit his new friend and he came every day after that. They had the most wonderful talks and became great friends.
One day when Mr. Turtle walked to the pond where he always met Stewart, he couldn’t find him anywhere.
“Stewart,” he called into the pond. “Stewart!” No answer. “Stewart, where are you my friend?”
“Over here,” came a frog’s voice that Mr. Turtle hadn’t heard before. “I am on the tree stump.”
“The tree stump! But you can’t be out of the water!” Mr. Turtle cried in panic. He looked at the tree stump and there, staring back at him, was a huge frog. "Why, you’re a… you’re a…, what happened to you?”
“You like it? I finally turned into a big frog like I said I would! Aren’t you happy for me?” Stewart asked happily.
“Why, yes!” said Mr. Turtle. “Yes, I’m very happy for you, Stewart! I was worried because I couldn’t find you, but here you are, a big frog just like you always wanted!”
“Yeah, isn’t it great?” shouted the frog as he leaped high into the air and landed back on the stump. “Look what I can do!” exclaimed the frog as he leaped from the tree stump to the pond, then to a rock, and back to the tree stump again.
“Well, well,” said Mr. Turtle. “I sure am impressed.”
“I can do that anytime I want,” replied the frog. “It is so much fun!”
“It looks like a lot of fun and I am very happy for you, but I guess we can’t be friends anymore.”
“Mr. Turtle,” Stewart cried, “I still want to be friends. Don’t you?”
“Why of course I do,” said Mr. Turtle. “I just thought that you might be too busy for our daily visits since you are now a frog.”
“Oh, no, Mr. Turtle!” said the frog. “Will you still come to see me every day, like always?”
“Why, of course I will,” replied Mr. Turtle as he patted the frog on the head. “I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Why don’t you test your new jumping legs out today and tomorrow I will meet you right here again and we can visit? Does that sound good?”
“Oh, yes, Mr. Turtle!” exclaimed the frog, “That sounds great! See you then!” The new frog jumped off the stump and happily leaped into the forest.

9. Selma the Cat Meets Marty the Mouse

Once upon a time, there lived a cat named Selma who lived on a farm with her owner Maggie. Maggie was a twelve-year-old girl and was Selma’s best friend in the whole world.
Every day, Maggie would come home from school, go to Selma’s little kitty bed, pick her up and take her outside to the front porch. Then Maggie would place Selma on her small lap and stroke her back for hours in an old rocking chair until supper was ready.
One day, Selma was waiting for Maggie to come home from school when the door opened and Maggie came running inside the house, right past Selma’s bed.
“I’m going to Liz’s house to spend the night, Mom,” she shouted at her mother. Then Maggie ran upstairs to gather her things.
“What’s Liz’s house?” Selma thought to herself.
Suddenly, Maggie came running downstairs with her overnight bag and started walking toward the front door.
“Where is she going?” Selma thought as she got out of her cuddly cat bed and followed her owner to the door.
“Meow,” cried Selma as she stood in front of Maggie’s feet.
“No, Selma,” said Maggie as she patted the top of Selma’s head. “You can’t come with me. I am staying at a friend’s house tonight.”
Selma moved to the side of the door as Maggie opened it and walked out with Selma following closely behind. Selma sat on the front porch as Maggie got into a parked car that had been waiting for her in the farm’s driveway.
“Meow,” Selma cried but her small owner didn’t notice. She was already talking to her friends inside the car that was now moving slowly down the farm’s driveway.
“I must catch her,” Selma thought and quickly began running at full speed down the driveway toward the road.
After a few moments of running, Selma reached the end of the farm’s long driveway and noticed that the car was out of sight. When Selma stopped for a moment to catch her breath, realized she was far from home.
“I have never been this far away from home before,” Selma thought to herself. “Where am I?” Selma began to look around in confusion. “Oh, no!” she thought. “What am I going to do?”
Suddenly, she heard a strange noise.
“Squeak….!” came a noise from under Selma’s furry paw.
“What was that?” shrieked Selma in confusion.
“Squeak, eek, eeek….” came the noise again.
Selma lifted her paw to reveal a small brown mouse cowering under her furry little cat pads.
“Please, don’t eat me!” the mouse cried out in fear.
“Eat you?” Selma asked the mouse. “Why would I want to eat you, you’re not cat food!”
“Cat food?” said the mouse. “Oh, you must be an indoor cat!”
“Why, yes!” Selma informed the mouse proudly. “I am an indoor cat, but I do visit the porch sometimes with my owner, Maggie.”
“Oh! Well, what are you doing out here then?” asked the mouse.
“My owner, Maggie, got into a car and it drove away. So I tried to follow but now I’m lost. I have never been off the porch before.”
“I can help you find your way back!” said the little mouse.
“You can?” exclaimed Selma happily.
“Sure, if you promise not to eat me!” said the mouse.
“I promise,” Selma told the mouse as they started making their way back to the farm house. “My name is Selma.”
“Mine’s Marty,” the little mouse introduced himself as they walked up the driveway.
Soon after, Selma and Marty had made their way to the farm house and were on the front porch talking before Selma had to go in for the night, when Selma had a terrific idea.
“I think you should liv

10. Mr. Turtle Goes to the Doctor:

Once upon a time, there lived a turtle called Mr. Turtle who lived in Marysville Forest. One day, Mr. Turtle was inside his large log home when he got a knock on the door.
“I wonder who that could be,” he thought as he went to answer the front door. “I am not expecting any company today.”
When he opened the door he found Mrs. Wolf, delivering the mail.
“Why, hello Mrs. Wolf!” greeted Mr. Turtle. “How are you doing today?”
“Hello, Mr. Turtle.” replied Mrs. Wolf. “I am doing well. I just have a note for you from Dr. Hedgehog. He wants you to come in today for your shot so you don’t get sick this year.”
“Oh, no! A shot!” Mr. Turtle said fearfully. “I hate shots! They hurt!”
“Now, now, Mr. Turtle. We don’t want you getting sick this year.” said Mrs. Wolf. “You best go in today and get that shot or you’ll get sick. It won’t hurt a bit, I promise.
“Okay.” replied Mr. Turtle. “I guess I don’t want to get sick. You promise it won’t hurt?” Mr. Turtle asked.
“I promise, Mr. Turtle. I will tell the doctor to take good care of you,” Mrs. Wolf assured Mr. Turtle. She walked down his path and out of sight.
Mr. Turtle grabbed his blue light jacket from his coat closet and proceeded out the door and to Dr. Hedgehog’s office to get his shot.
When Mr. Turtle got to the doctor’s office he was placed in an exam room while he waited for the doctor to come in and give him his shot.
A few minutes later, Dr. Hedgehog appeared in the exam room with the Mr. Turtle’s shot in his hand.
“Now there, Mr. Turtle,” said the doctor. “I hear from Mrs. Wolf that you’re afraid to get your shot?”
“Yes,” replied Mr. Turtle. “I’m afraid it will hurt.”
“Nonsense,” Dr. Hedgehog replied. “Shots don’t hurt! All you will feel is a small prick and a tingly sensation and then the shot will be over.”
“It will?” asked Mr. Turtle with excitement.
“Oh, yes.” said the doctor. “You won’t feel a thing. Now turn to your left for me and hold out your arm.”
Mr. Turtle did as Dr. Hedgehog asked and turned and held out his arm while the doctor gave him his shot.
“There you are, Mr. Turtle.” said the doctor.
“What?” said Mr. Turtle. “You’re done?”
“Yes, Mr. Turtle. I am,” said Dr. Hedgehog. I told you it wouldn’t hurt, didn’t I?”
“But, I didn’t feel a thing!”
“That’s good. Remember, Mr. Turtle, you should always get your shots from the doctor because if not you will get sick. I told you it wouldn’t hurt and it didn’t, did it?”
“No, I didn’t feel a thing,” replied Mr. Turtle as he jumped off the exam table. “You’re right, doctor. I’m glad that I came in today to get my shot. Now I won’t be sick all year!”
“See you next year, Mr. Turtle!” said the doctor.
“See you next year, Doctor.” said Mr. Turtle as he walked out of the doctor’s office back to his log home.

11. Mr. Turtle Goes to the Market

Once upon a time there was a turtle named Mr. Turtle who lived in Marysville Forest. One day Mr. Turtle got invited to a picnic. Mr. Turtle had to bring a watermelon and this meant that he had to go to the market. So Mr. Turtle went to the market to select a watermelon, though he wasn’t sure how to pick one out. “How do I tell which one is ready to eat?” Mr. Turtle thought. “I need to ask for help.”Just then Mr. Turtle noticed Ducky, the store owner nearby. “Ducky, can you help me select a watermelon for a picnic?” asked Mr. Turtle. “Why, yes!” replied Ducky. “I would be glad to help you.” “Here’s how you pick out a watermelon.” Ducky told Mr. Turtle as he picked up a big watermelon. “You select a watermelon, hold it up to your ear and tap on it. If it sounds empty, it’s ready to eat!” “Oh,” said Mr. Turtle. “I will try!” Mr. Turtle selected a watermelon and held it up to his ear and tapped on it. “Does it sound empty?” asked Ducky. “Yes, I think it does,” replied Mr. Turtle. “Why then, it’s ready to eat!” Ducky told Mr. Turtle. “You can take it to your picnic today.” “Thank you for all your help, Ducky,” Mr. Turtle said and shook Ducky’s wing. Then he headed to the checkout lane to buy his watermelon. After Mr. Turtle had left the market he walked to the picnic to meet his friends. “Hi, Mr. Turtle!” cried Melanie the Squirrel when she saw Mr. Turtle. “Are you here for the picnic?” “Yes, I am and I have the watermelon you asked for,” said Mr. Turtle as he handed Melanie the fruit. “Thank you, Mr. Turtle,” Melanie said as she took the watermelon. Then Mr. Turtle and Melanie sat down with all their friends and enjoyed the picnic!

12. Tyler the Fish and Marty the Shark

(Continued from Last Week...)

“Ready!” answered Peter.
“Okay, one, two, three, PULL!” shouted Tyler as both little fish pulled on the large hook as hard as they could. The hook gave way.
“Oh, thank you, little fish!” cried Marty with excitement. “How can I ever thank you?”
“By not eating us,” replied Peter to the large shark.
“Oh, you little fish,” said Marty as he grabbed the two fish and hugged them close. “I would never do anything like that. You two helped me and besides I like shrimp. I am a high maintenance shark,” Marty told them as he winked at the two fish.
“Hey,” said Tyler with excitement, “Why don’t you practice swimming without a hook and come to my house to meet my parents?”
“That sounds nice, but don’t you think they will be afraid of me?” asked Marty as he made a sad face.
“Well, I’m sure after we explain to them what happened they won’t be afraid of you,” replied Tyler.
“Okay, then,” said Marty. “I would love to go home and meet your folks!”

13. Tyler the Fish and Marty the Shark

Tyler the fish was a small Bass fish who lived in Lake Ontario with his Mommy and Daddy-Fish.
Tyler had many friends and he often would play with them in the lake waters until his mother would call him home for supper.
One day, Tyler and his friend Peter were out playing in the lake close to their home when they noticed that everyone near them suddenly swam away.
“Help!” they all cried as they hurried away.
“Why are those fish swimming away?” Tyler asked Peter.
Swiftly, the ocean got darker.
“Tyler,” said Peter, “why has the lake gotten dark?”
Tyler was about to answer his friend when a large wave came abruptly from behind them causing them to turn around. As they both turned they saw a large shark hovering in front of them with hungry teeth.
“Hello, you two,” greeted the large shark.
Tyler and Peter screamed in fear and began to swim away as fast as they could but with one fast swoop of his fin the shark managed to scoop them up and bring them close again.
“Don’t be afraid, little fish,” cried the shark. “My name is Marty and I don’t mean any harm. I just wanted to see if you two could help me with something.” The shark turned to the side revealing a large hook in his fin.
“Oh, my,” cried Peter, “that must hurt!”
“Yes, it does and I was really hoping to find some nice fish to help me pull it out!”
“Well,” said Tyler, “we could try to pull it out!”
“Yeah, I guess we could try,” replied Peter.
“Well, I don’t know,” said Marty, “but if you both pull up on the hook at the same time, I think it might pop out. Oh, it will be so nice to not have a hook in my fin. I keep swimming sideways!”
“Don’t worry!” said Tyler, “with our help you will have that hook out of your fin and be swimming freely in no time.” Then Tyler and Peter both swam up to the top of Marty’s fin and began to pull, but the hook didn’t come out.
“I don’t understand,” cried Peter. “Why didn’t the hook come out?”
“Wait,” said Tyler, “I have an idea. I will count to three and then we will both pull on the hook as hard as I can at the same time!”
“Okay,” said Peter.
“Alright, ready?” shouted Tyler.
“Ready!” answered Peter.

14. Tyler the Fish and the Bully

Tyler the Fish was a small Bass fish who lived in Lake Ontario with his Mommy and Daddy-Fish. It was his first day of school and Tyler was so excited.
Mommy-Fish had bought Tyler his first back-pack and she packed his lunch for school and gave it to Tyler.
Soon Tyler arrived for school and met his best friend, Peter, at the door.
“Hey, Tyler, aren’t you excited to meet our new teacher?” asked Peter.
“Oh, yes,” replied Tyler, “I can’t wait to meet our teacher and see our classroom.”
“Me, too!” exclaimed Peter. “I hear that we have recess where you can go play outside with other kids!”
“Neat,” said Tyler, “I can’t wait for our first recess.”
“Now kids,” said Tyler and Peter’s new teacher, “come with me to your new classroom.”
The teacher led her class down the hall and into their classroom where all the little fish sat down at their new desks, ready to learn.
A few hours later, Tyler and Peter were in line for lunch and were talking when a large clown fish from their class came up to Tyler.
“Hey, give me your lunch!” demanded the clown fish. “Give me your lunch, now!”
“Why would I give you my lunch?” asked Tyler. “It’s mine. My mother made it for me, not you.”
“Give me your lunch, kid,” demanded the fish again, “or I’ll give you a knuckle sandwich!” The fish held up his fins at Tyler. He grabbed Tyler’s lunch sack out of his small fins and swam off.
“Hey!” exclaimed Tyler. “That’s my lunch!”
“Don’t worry, Tyler,” cried Peter, “you can have some of my lunch.”
“Thanks,” replied Tyler. “It’s nice of you to share.”
After school Tyler went home and told his Mommy-Fish about what happened at lunch and she sat him down to talk with him.
“Tyler,” said Mommy-Fish, “sometimes there will be little fish in your class that may be mean to you or to upset you because they don’t know any better, but you do know better, don’t you? You know what that fish did hurt your feelings and because of that you wouldn’t do that to another fish, right?”
“Right,” Tyler told his mother.
The next day, Tyler went to school and was standing in lunch line with Peter again, when the large clown fish came up to Tyler.
“Give me your lunch, kid!” shouted the clown fish. “No,” cried Tyler, “it’s mine and you can’t have it!”
“What, are you crazy, kid?” the large clown fish yelled at Tyler. “Give it to me!” The fish began to grab the bag.
Tyler held his lunch sack close to him and screamed “No!” in the clown fishes’ face as he tried to grab the brown bag from him.
“No!” shouted Tyler. “I feel sorry for you because you hurt fishes’ feelings. I would never do that because I know it’s wrong to hurt other’s feelings. We could be friends if you would just be nice.”
“Sorry,” said the large clown fish looking embarrassed. Then he swam away from Tyler and never asked for his lunch sack again.
Tyler went home and told his mother what happened at lunch that day.
“Tyler,” cried Mommy-Fish, “I am so proud of you! You stuck up for yourself and explained to the mean fish that he was wrong!”
“You’re proud of me?” asked Tyler.
“Yes, honey,” said Mommy-Fish as she wrapped her fins around her son. “Good job!”

15. Frank the Pig Goes to the Fair

Continued from last week....

The next day, Samuel and Frank the Pig went to the county fair and the judges were about to start judging Frank the Pig for the “Best Pig in the County Contest” when his owner stooped down on one knee to console his barn animal.
“Now, Frank,” said Samuel, “don’t be nervous about today or winning this contest. I love you no matter what happens and that is what’s important. This contest is just for fun. Okay, old pal?” He stood up and patted his large pig on the head. “Go get ‘em boy!”
A few moments later the judges were looking at Frank and scribbling some things on their contest boards when Frank the Pig began to raise his two front feet from the ground, putting all his body weight on his two back legs.
“Oh, my!” cried one of the judges, “have you ever seen such a sight?”
Frank the Pig loudly squealed and snorted while on his two back legs with his front feet high in the air.
“Ladies and Gentleman,” shouted one of the judges into a microphone. “The winner of “The Best Pig in the County Contest” goes to Frank the Pig and his owner Samuel!”
“Yea!” everyone cheered as they ran up to pet Frank the Pig on the head.
A few hours later, Frank the Pig was home lying on a bed of hay in the barn. All his friends lay fast asleep. They were tired from celebrating Frank’s victory at the fair that day. As Frank the Pig thought of new tricks to learn to impress the judges next year, he drifted into a dreamy sleep.

16. Frank the Pig Goes to the Fair

Frank the Pig lives on a farm in Troy, Ohio, with his three best friends, Marla the Cow, and two ducks: Quackers, and Pricilla.
One cool spring morning, Quackers, Pricilla, and Frank the Pig were all playing in the hay inside the barn.
“You’re it!” cried Quackers as he threw hay and hit Frank the Pig on the nose.
“Ah, Ah, Ahh…,”said Frank, “Ah-chew…!” Suddenly, the hay flew up in the air from Frank’s large sneeze and all the barn animals laughed.
“Hello, everyone,” called Samuel, the owner of the barn. He appeared in the doorway with a large pitch fork ready to do his Sunday morning cleaning.
All the animals gathered around Samuel when they saw him. Each one wanted to get a pat on the head or an itch scratched.
“Okay, everyone,” Samuel said trying to begin his barn work. “Frank, how would you like to be entered into the fair this year?”
“Oh, my goodness!” cried Marla the Cow at their owner’s question. “Oh, you have to do it, Frank! You must, you will win!”
“Why, yes,” stated Quackers, “you must enter. It will be so much fun and you are the biggest pig in the county!”
Everyone looked at Frank the Pig and waited for his response to this great news, but before Frank could reply to his friends’ comments, his owner interrupted.
“I hope you want to be in the fair because I entered you into “The Best Pig in the County Contest” this morning. I think you have a good chance of winning. You are the best pig in the county! However, this year everyone is saying that Clyde the Pig will win, but I’ll bet they are wrong. Sure, Clyde is supposed to be the biggest pig in the county, but we still have a chance and maybe you could learn a new trick or something to impress the judges!” Samuel said to his beloved pet as he laughed. “Who am I kidding? I love you, Frank, but you are the laziest pig ever.”
After Samuel was finished cleaning the barn and had gone, Frank’s friends gathered around him in a large circle to see how he was feeling after hearing the news about Clyde the Pig.
“It's okay, everyone,” replied Frank. “I will be fine. It’s just a stupid contest anyway and it’s supposed to be fun, right?”
“Sure. Fun. It’s supposed to be fun,” Marla told her large pink friend with a sigh.
“Yeah, it’s just for fun,” said Pricilla. “Who cares who wins!”
“But,” spoke Marla, “what about what Samuel said about doing a trick to win?”
“What,” cried Quackers, “a trick?”
“Yes, a trick,” repeated Marla. “Samuel said if Frank did a trick then he would impress the judges and he might have a better chance of winning!”
“Okay, Marla,” replied Quackers, “now I know you have truly lost it because you seem to have forgotten that we are talking about Frank the Pig. He can’t do a trick, he is too big and, and…well, sorry Frank, but you are really lazy!”
“But if I did the trick I could win?” Frank the Pig asked his friends.
“Yes, you could win,” replied Marla. “I think it’s worth a shot. Now let’s start working on your trick for the judges.”

17. Giuseppe Creates a New Pizza Pie

Giuseppe is an Italian cook who lives in Rome, Italy, where he makes his world famous pizza pies.
About a year ago Giuseppe made his pies out of a small vendor’s cart, but now Giuseppe owns his own restaurant where people come from all over the world just to taste one of his famous pizza pies.
One afternoon, Giuseppe came out of the kitchen to say hello to a dear friend and customer, Marsha, an American tourist who had helped him obtain his restaurant when he lost his vendor’s cart.
“Hello, Marsha!” cried Giuseppe as Marsha stood up from her chair and hugged her dear friend. “I’m so glad you could come all the way from America to see me. How are you?”
“I am great, Giuseppe,” said Marsha as she looked around the crowded restaurant. “It’s good to see you again. I’m happy to see that your restaurant is doing so well!”
“Yes, we have had a line around the block every day since we opened a year ago!” cried Giuseppe with glee and a twinkle in his Italian eyes.
“That is wonderful, Giuseppe!” replied Marsha.
“Thank you, my dear,” replied the cook. “Now, what do you think about the place?”
“What about creating a new pizza pie, Giuseppe?” shouted a man who sat behind Marsha.
“That is a great idea, Giuseppe,” replied Marsha. “I have been looking at your menu and see that you have a margarita cheese, pepperoni, sausage, onion, and pepper pizzas. But if you created a new pizza and updated the menu, it would add some more excitement for customers. What do you think, Giuseppe?”
“Yeah, what do you think, Giuseppe?” asked the man sitting behind Marsha.
“I think I will except the challenge and create a new pizza pie for my menu!” shouted Giuseppe excitedly.
“Yea!” shouted all of Giuseppe’s customers. “Hurrah, a new pizza pie!”
“Yes, I shall start cooking right away,” replied the cook to the happy crowd.
“Marsha,” said Giuseppe, “I am so glad you are here. You always help me with my business and if you think I need a new pizza pie, then a new pizza pie you shall have.”
Then Giuseppe turned and walked into his kitchen where he began cooking and experimenting with new recipes.
The next afternoon everyone waited outside Giuseppe’s kitchen while the Italian cook finished cooking his latest Italian creation.
“I have it!” shouted Giuseppe as he carried out his new pizza pie.
There was a huge crowd in the small Italian restaurant and Marsha was in the front row standing right in front of the cook with his new pie.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I present my new pizza pie!” announced Giuseppe as he presented the pie for everyone to see.
“Ahhh,” said the crowd. The aroma made their mouths water.
“Marsha, my dear,” said Giuseppe to his friend, “I would like you to have the first slice.”
“Oh, Giuseppe,” cried Marsha, “what an honor! I would love to try it!”
“Good. Here you go my dear,” said the cook as he gave his longtime friend a slice.
Everyone watched as Marsha took the first bite. She chewed the piece slowly for a long moment. Then she stopped and put the pizza pie down on the counter top nearby. The whole crowd paused with eagerness as they waited for the results.
“Well, what is it?” shouted someone from the large crowd.
“Yeah, is it good?” shouted another person from the crowd.
“Well, Giuseppe,” spoke Marsha, “it’s, it’s….GREAT!!” Marsha shouted as she hugged her favorite chef. “It’s the best pizza pie I have ever tasted in my life!”
“Oh, my goodness,” cried Giuseppe with happiness. “Oh, my gosh. It’s good? It’s really good?”
“Yes, old friend,” shouted Marsha. “It’s fantastic! You will be selling so much pizza pie you will need a vacation!”
“Oh, my,” cried the cook happily. “Come everyone, have a slice!” shouted Giuseppe as he gave out slices to the hungry crowd.
“Oh, wow!” cried a nearby customer. “This i

18. Marla the Cow Helps Quackers:

Marla lived on a farm in Troy, Ohio, with her two friends, Quackers the Duck and Frank the Pig. Marla and her friends loved the farm and loved to play together all day long.
One day Marla, Quackers, and Frank the Pig where having a hay fight inside the barn on a cold winter day when suddenly their farm owner, Samuel, opened the door.
“Moo…,” cried Marla. “Close the door, it’s too cold!”
“Oh, Marla,” Samuel yelled back. “Quit griping,” he said as he carried a large cage into the barn and set it down. “I only have two hands!” Then Samuel turned to close the door behind him to guard the winter blast from getting inside.
When he returned, all the barn animals surrounded the large cage Samuel had brought.
“Quack,” a large cry came from inside the cage. “Quack, quack….”
“Get back everyone,” Samuel told the barn animals as he swatted them away. “You’re scaring her!”
Samuel unbuckled the cage and out came a squawking duck flapping its wings.
“Quack, Quack, Quack,” sang the duck.
“Everyone, this is Priscilla,” Samuel told them as he closed the cage and picked it up. “She is from Michigan and is a new member of our family, so everyone be nice to her and welcome her to our farm.” Then Samuel took the cage and walked out the door back into the cold weather.
“Hi,” Marla said to the new duck. “My name is Marla and this is Quackers and Frank the Pig. We hope you will like it here!”
“Hello,” said the duck shyly.
“Hi,” said Frank the pig, “we were just playing in the hay. Do you want to join us?”
“Okay,” said Priscilla as she picked up some hay and threw it at Frank the Pig.
“Hey, she isn’t bad,” said Frank as he smiled and threw some hay back at Priscilla.
Marla watched as Priscilla and Frank played in the hay. A few moments later she noticed someone missing. Where was Quackers?
Marla looked around the barn and saw her friend in a bed of hay sitting alone.
“Hey, Quackers,” she cried to her friend as she walked his way. “What are you doing? Why aren’t you playing in the hay with us?”
“I don’t want to,” replied Quackers. “I don’t feel like it.”
“But, Quackers,” said Marla, “you love playing in the hay and having hay fights with us!”
“I don’t feel like it, okay?” Quackers snapped back at Marla then picked up his head and turned away.
“Okay, Quackers. You get some sleep and maybe later you can play with us,” Marla said as she covered her friend with hay and he fell fast asleep.
The next morning, Samuel came in to feed the barn animals and was handing out food when he noticed someone missing.
“Hey everyone, where is Quackers?” Samuel asked the animals.
Suddenly, he spotted Quackers lying in a bed of hay in the back of the barn. Samuel walked over to the duck and put some food down for him. He petted the duck softly. But Quackers wouldn’t eat.
“What’s wrong, little buddy?” said Samuel to the duck as he petted its back. “You’re not feeling well today?”
Quackers didn’t move or look up at his owner. He just lay there half asleep in his comfy bed.
A few hours later, Samuel had finished cleaning the barn but did not see any improvement in his little duck, so as he was leaving he told Marla the Cow to keep a good eye on him.
“Make sure he is okay,” said Samuel as he patted her on her spotted head. Then he left the barn.
A few moments later, Marla and Frank the Pig walked over to Quackers who lay on his bed and stood in front of him.
“Okay, what is wrong with you?” asked Marla. “You have been in

19. Mr. Turtle Bakes a Birthday Cake

Today is Mr. Turtle’s brother’s birthday so Mr. Turtle wanted to make him a birthday cake. The only problem was that Mr. Turtle didn’t know how to bake a cake.
Mr. Turtle was sitting in his kitchen debating what to do when he heard a noise outside. He walked to the front door and opened it and looked outside.
“Hi, Mr. Turtle,” spoke Mrs. Wolf the mail carrier as she put Mr. Turtle’s mail into his mail box. “How are you today?”
“Hi, Mrs. Wolf,” replied Mr. Turtle. “I am not doing very well. I have a problem and I don’t know what to do.”
“What is your problem, Mr. Turtle?” replied Mrs. Wolf. “Maybe I can help.”
“I hope so,” said Mr. Turtle. “You see it’s my brother, Danny’s birthday today and I wanted to make him a cake but I don’t know how!”
“Make a cake!” exclaimed Mrs. Wolf. “Well, I can help you with that. Get your coat and we’ll go to the market!”
A few hours later Mr. Turtle and Mrs. Wolf returned to Mr. Turtle’s home from the market with the ingredients to make a cake for Danny’s birthday.
In the kitchen, Mrs. Wolf read Mr. Turtle the cake recipe and instructions while Mr. Turtle poured eggs, flour, sugar, oil, and water into a large bowl and began stirring it around.
Soon the cake batter was ready and now it was time to grease the cake pans.
“Here you go, Mr. Turtle,” said Mrs. Wolf. “Take this butter and smear it around the cake pan and its edges. This will prevent the cake from sticking to the pan. This way, we can get the cake out easier and the cake will look nice when it’s done!”
“Okay,” Mr. Turtle said as he unwrapped the butter and smeared it about the pan. “This is fun!”
“Yes,” replied Mrs. Wolf. “I am having a good time too!”
“It looks like you’re a done greasing the pans. Good job. Now we will pour the cake’s batter into the two cake pans.”
“Sure, Mrs. Wolf,” said Mr. Turtle and with Mrs. Wolf’s help and instruction Mr. Turtle poured the cake’s batter into the two greased pans and placed them into the oven.
“Now we must set the timer on the oven so that we know when the cake is done and ready to come out of the oven,” said Mrs. Wolf as she set the oven’s timer for thirty-four minutes.
A few hours later the cake was out of the oven cooled on the cake racks, then iced with white fluffy icing. With Mrs. Wolf’s help, Mr. Turtle wrote “Happy Birthday Danny” on the top of the cake and it was all ready to surprise Danny when he came for his birthday dinner.
“Thank you so much for all your help today, Mrs. Wolf,” said Mr. Turtle. “I couldn’t have done it without you and it was so much fun! I love to cook!”
“It was no problem Mr. Turtle,” replied Mrs. Wolf. “Anytime, Mr. Turtle!”
Later that night, Danny arrived at Mr. Turtle’s house for his birthday dinner and was greeted by his brother at the door holding a giant birthday cake.
“Brother, did you do all of this for me?” Asked Danny in surprise.
“Yes, Mrs. Wolf helped me and it was so much fun that she is coming back tomorrow night to teach me how to cook pizza!”
“Why, it sounds like you had a lot of fun today. Maybe I should learn to cook too!”
“Oh yes, brother,” replied Mr. Turtle. “You will love cooking, it is so such fun. I can wait to learn more!”

20. Mr. Turtle Goes Camping

Mr. Turtle lived in Marysville forest in a log home. Mr. Turtle’s brother, Danny, was visiting from Florida and they were going to take a camping trip, so Mr. Turtle and Danny went to the market to pick up some camping supplies.
“Now, let’s see,” said Mr. Turtle as he took out his list when they were in the market.
“We need to get the some graham crackers, chocolate bars, and marshmallows so we can make some s’mores on our camping trip!” exclaimed Danny.
“S’mores?” said Mr. Turtle in confusion.”What is a s’more?”
“You don’t know what a s’more is?” asked Danny.
“No, I have never had one,” Mr. Turtle replied.
“Oh, you will love them,” said Danny. “You will see. I will make one for you,” said Danny as he took the list from his brother and they set off to find marshmallows.
A few days later, Mr. Turtle and Danny worked hard together in the woods to set up their camping supplies and tent in front of the huge grill they had dumped charcoal into.
Finally, nightfall came and Mr. Turtle and Danny were getting hungry so Danny took out the graham crackers, chocolate bars, and marshmallows they had bought at the market and made Mr. Turtle his first s’more.
“Here you go, brother,” said Danny as he handed his brother the s’more. “You will love it!”
“Are you sure it’s good?” asked Mr. Turtle.
“Oh, yes,” replied Danny. “They are the best. I know you will love them.
Mr. Turtle took the s’more from his brother’s paw and popped it into his mouth.
“Oh, my goodness!” shouted Mr. Turtle.
“What?” cried Danny. “Is it too hot? Did you burn yourself?”
“No,” cried Mr. Turtle. “It’s so good! I love it!”
“Oh,” replied Danny. “I knew you would!”
“I do! They are the best,” Mr. Turtle told his brother. “These are so good. Can I have some more?”
“Sure, you can,” said Danny. “But make sure that you don’t eat too many or you will get a tummy ache.”
The next morning, Mr. Turtle and Danny woke up and gathered up their things and walked back to Mr. Turtle’s log home.
“I can’t wait for another camping trip,” said Mr. Turtle to Danny as they walked into his log home.
“Why not?” asked Danny.
“Because I want some more s’mores!” replied Mr. Turtle.

21. Isabel the Fairy Helps Timmy the Squirrel

"Continued from last week..."

Isabel and Craig led the homesick squirrel through the forest to Isabel’s house.
“Mom,” said Isabel as she and Craig walked through the door with their new friend, Timmy, “I want you to meet Timmy.” Isabel introduced her mother to her new friend. “He is from Canada and has lost his way and needs our help.”
“Nice to meet you, Tim,” said Isabel’s mother as she greeted her daughter’s friend.
“Isabel, bring me my book of spells and we will see if we can help your little friend get home.”
“Okay,” said Isabel as she ran off to find the book. A few minutes later the book was in her mother’s hands.
“Let me see, here,” said her mother as she looked through the big book of fairy spells. “Oh, yes, this spell will help your little friend.”
“Great news, Timmy,” exclaimed Isabel. “We are going to send you home!”
“Really?” cried Timmy. “Oh, thank you! Thank you all”
“Okay, Timmy,” said Isabel’s mother, “are you ready to go home now?”
“Oh, yes,” cried the squirrel. “Yes, I am ready!”
Timmy stood still as Isabel and her mother began to read the spell.
“Pat-see, matt-see, lully, dully, messy, freesty, take this squirrel back home to Canada where he belongs!”
“Poof…!” A cloud of smoke appeared where Timmy had been standing.
“Oh, my,” cried Craig to Isabel and her mother. “He’s gone! He disappeared!”
“Yes,” said Isabel’s mother, “we sent him back to Canada! The spell worked.”
“Wow, Isabel,” cried Craig. “Can you do that again?”
“I’m afraid not, Craig,” Isabel told her friend and patted him on the shoulder.
“Well, I’m glad that Timmy is back home with his family,” Isabel said to her mother. “Thanks for all your help, Mom.”
“I’m also glad we could help him go back home,” said her mother as she hugged her daughter, “and I’m really glad you helped a friend.”

22. Isabel the Fairy Helps Timmy the Squirrel

Isabel was a pretty little fairy with blond hair and brown eyes who lived in the forest with her mother and father.
Isabel was still learning how to use her fairy powers and had lessons from her mother every afternoon, but after her lessons, Isabel was allowed to play in the forest with her best friend, Craig.
Isabel loved to play in the forest with Craig. They always had so much fun playing Hide and Seek or tickling each other with silly long grasses.
One day, after Isabel’s fairy lessons, Isabel and Craig were playing Hide and Seek in the forest. Craig was “It” while Isabel hid behind a nearby tree.
“Crunch, crunch,” went the leaves under Craig’s feet as Isabel hid.
“Oh, no,” thought Isabel, “he’s close. I have to move without him hearing me.”
Isabel slowly moved around the tree.
“I see you!” shouted Craig as Isabel began to run through the forest.
Craig was close behind her now and reaching out to touch her when suddenly a large object fell from above into a pile of nearby leaves.
“Agh………,” the creature screamed as it fell and hit the ground.
“What was that?” asked Craig.
“I’m not sure,” replied Isabel as they both crept closer to the pile of leaves the creature had landed in.
Suddenly, the pile of leaves started to stir and out popped the head of a little black creature.
“Auh, huh,” said the little black creature as it came up out of the pile of leaves holding a nut. “Oh, hello there!” it said, greeting Isabel and Craig.
“Hi,” answered Isabel. “My name is Isabel and this is my friend, Craig. We were just playing Hide and Seek when we heard you fall from the trees. Are you okay?”
“Oh, yes,” answered the little creature. “I am fine. I was building a nest above in the trees when I lost my balance trying to get a nut and fell.
“Well, I’m glad you’re okay. That was a nasty fall!”
“Yes,” agreed the little critter, “it was, but I am perfectly well. Thank you. Let me introduce myself. My name is Timmy.”
“Glad to meet you, Timmy,” replied Isabel, “but if you please, sir….”
“Yes?” replied Tim.
“We were wondering what you are?” asked Craig.
“Me?” asked the little creature in surprise. “Why, I’m a squirrel. Have you never seen a squirrel before?
“Why, yes,” replied Isabelle, “but normally squirrels are brown!”
“I am a Canadian squirrel. I’m from Canada,” replied the squirrel. “Where I live almost all squirrels are black. Why, all my relatives are black squirrels!”
“Oh,” spoke Isabel in surprise, “We have never seen a black squirrel before!”
“If you’re from Canada, how did you get here?” asked Craig.
“I wanted to see the world, so I decided to go back packing around the United States of America and I have lived here for a long time now. So long in fact, that I cannot remember how to get back home!”
“Oh, no,” cried Craig and Isabel. “That is terrible.”
“Yes, it is,” replied the squirrel. “I really miss my family. I haven’t seen them in years. Say, can you help me get back home?”
“Well, I am still learning how to use my fairy powers, but I can try.” replied Isabel. “I recently helped a little frog. I’ll bet I can help you too!”
“Oh, that would be great!” shouted the squirrel with glee.
“Let’s go home and see my mother,” Isabel told Timmy. “She knows all the spells and I know she will want to help.”
