I finished this one today. (Although I accidentally signed it 2015, which I fixed after I photographed it) Part of my goals for this New Year Challenge, is to finish work, bring sketches to life & ideas to fruition. I found this sketch on a canvas and really don't remember what the heck I was thinking...so I painted it in December, and then was almost done, but not quite happy with my detail or lack there of. But, was also afraid of ruining it. But, today I did it. Glazing, defining and finishing. Ta da, I'm very proud of myself, (obviously) but, I know art is not just about finishing work. What I do know, is that one painting will lead to another and another and I'm super psyched about getting the old art ball rolling again. #30paintingsin30days
