Toddlers love to count and counting objects make them happy. Counting cups in the kitchens rack, socks in the laundry, each stair they climb, Apples in the fruit basket, crackers at lunch, or flowers in the garden. Parents needs to show their children how to point out an object as they are counting.

Young children enjoy pouring and scooping. They love to be in charge and independent in doing their own task as well doing things for others.
