Viewing Post from: Through My Librarian Eye's Blog
TMLE - Short for Through My Librarian Eye's - TMLE is a blog I started for the sake of writing about all the books I love, hate, or feel indifferent about.
As it turns out, TMLE is a blog about that, and more. Through it I will continue to post my views and opinions on books and the field of librarianship, I will also write about my adventures and misadventures in becoming a librarian. Lastly, but possibly most importantly the blog is going to take on the essence of an online zine which will feature reviews on books, and even author interviews!
We release beautiful new themes every week. In our Early Theme Adopters series, we focus on bloggers who are using the most recent additions to our Theme Showcase. Today, let's visit some of the blogs that are already using Singl, a minimalist, versatile theme.
Does it help to add hash tags to blog posts? #DSalernoTravel
Thanks ~

There are so many wonderful themes yet I can’t seem to find the right one for my blog. I’m using “The Traveler’s Theme” which is great but the “Follow this blog” button is buried at the bottom of the page as are the ads. I’d like to create a sidebar but this theme doesn’t offer that. Any suggestions would be most helpful.
I’d recommend you browse the Theme Showcase by layout: you could narrow it down to themes with a left sidebar, a right sidebar, or both, and then narrow it down even further by selecting other features or styles you prefer.
We recommend simply tagging your posts. Adding the # symbol might make sense if you’re referring specifically to a Twitter-originated hashtag, but it doesn’t add anything else in terms of making your post easier to find for others.
Looks amazing, I might change mine to this one.. The only thing that doesn’t convince me is the color.
You might want to try it out, then, with different-colored custom backgrounds. If you go to the Customizer, you can preview any background image you already have (or upload a new one). You can also try out different background colors in the Colors panel there (to save them you’ll need the Custom Design upgrade).
Thanks for this, after trying so many themes, I finally take Singl as my best choice for its clean, tidy, modern and minimal-style. It’s so beautiful! :D
I am soaking this all in, thanks for the tips!
