I'm never completely sure what I should write in these "About Me" sections. I find them to be a daunting task that I must face in the online world.

I am currently working towards my Master's Degree in Library Science. Obviously, I want to be a librarian. More specifically I want to be a Young Adult Librarian. People ask me why that is, simply put - why not?!

Aside from that I am also a writer. I have high dreams, and even higher hopes of one day writing my own book. Until that time comes, I'm content on reading the great books that are out there.

I am a firm beliver in the DIY (Do It Yourself) ethic. That is why I run my own independent music zine. I have had great opportunities, met awesome people, and have made wonderful memories that I will always cherish.

In keeping with the DIY ethich, I recently started my own blog (www.tmle.wordpress.com) which focuses on books I like, don't like, both adventures and misadventures I encounter while in the process of becoming a librarian, etc.. But I want this blog to be more than a blog of option - I want a blog of substance. That is why it will also feature book reviews, site reviews, and even author interviews.

In other news I recently accepted the challenge to read 100 books in a year. So far, 10 down, 90 more to go! I'm optimistic!
