Viewing Post from: Through My Librarian Eye's Blog
TMLE - Short for Through My Librarian Eye's - TMLE is a blog I started for the sake of writing about all the books I love, hate, or feel indifferent about.
As it turns out, TMLE is a blog about that, and more. Through it I will continue to post my views and opinions on books and the field of librarianship, I will also write about my adventures and misadventures in becoming a librarian. Lastly, but possibly most importantly the blog is going to take on the essence of an online zine which will feature reviews on books, and even author interviews!

Our own Karen Arnold will lead a workshop to teach kids and their families how to get started blogging on WordPress.com. This sounds like such a great workshop. I remember journaling when I was growing up, its a great outlet – regardless of how old you are. Glad to see privacy being emphasized.
Are you going to produce a webinar for kids, or post something online? My middle school students will be s starting blogs in two weeks, it would be great for them to see.
That is awesome! I just set all my 6th grade students up a blog for our class. They have really been active and enjoy having their very own blog. I’m having a hard time keeping up with them! #digitalkids
Hi Douglas,
We don’t have plans to produce a webinar for kids at the moment — though that’s an awesome idea.
I’m thirteen and I LOVE blogging on WordPress. I think it is a great idea to get more kids involved!
My 10 and 8 year old sons just started to blog. How I wish we could go to the summit!
Reblogged this on Karen Alma.
What a great idea. I think I’ll approach some of the teachers at my school and see if there’s an interest in teaching some of our children how to start a blog. Maybe I’ll make it a club.
That sounds like a great idea. I wish i blogged when i was younger. I’m now encouraging my siblings to start blogging.
Hi, I am now 10 and I started blogging on WordPress since I was 5. Blogging is fun but I also need to work very hard. WordPress has been very helpful, thanks for the great experience.
