Putting theory into practice: Implementing RDA/FRBR at the Jewish Public Library


Over the past few years RDA and FRBR have been hot topics in the library profession, and Montreal's own Jewish Public Library was the first public library in the world to adopt FRBR alongside RDA. Come and hear Eddie Paul, Head of Bibliographic and Information Services at the Jewish Public Library, share his experiences (and adventures!) from this journey.

When: Wednesday April 4th at 6:30pm

Where: Atwater Public Library Auditorium, 1200 Avenue Atwater Westmount, QC
Cost: $5 CLA members and students ; $7 non-CLA members

Au cours des dernières années, RDA et FRBR sont devenus des sujets d’actualités dans la profession de bibliothécaire. La Bibliothèque publique juive, ici à Montréal, était la première bibliothèque dans le monde à adopter FRBR avec RDA. Venez écouter Eddie Paul, chef des services bibliographiques et de l’information à la Bibliothèque publique juive, partager ses expériences (et aventures!) de ce parcours.
