It feels SO good to have others love the books I write! And to have a glowing review of (my upcoming) HUNTED makes me sit here beaming. I want my books to touch people, want them to be gripped while they read and finish wanting more, and I am so grateful when they do.

And of course I have to include the first full official trailer for The Hunger Games film. I have to say, I wasn't very impressed with the trailer at first because I'm a highly skeptical person, and I don't want the film to let me down. But I'm happy to say it's growing on me. I'm so excited to be back in Panem again!

I just signed 100 of my 5-panel HUNTED comic strips (printed on semi-gloss card paper) and I’m mailing them to the artist to sign as well–for the online launch for HUNTED (I might save some for the in-person launch, too). Who knows–maybe some day they’ll become collector’s items.

I’m SO excited to share this with you! Check out the NEW Teen Para: A HUNTED Bonus Comic Strip! A comic strip that ties into my upcoming paranormal fantasy/dystopian novel HUNTED (releases Dec 02).

Isn’t it gorgeous? (Click on the snapshot to see the full comic. It may take a few seconds to load because it’s a big graphic file.) I had SO much fun creating this! I wrote the comic strip–which means I not only wrote the dialogue (well, the thought bubbles) that you see, but I also wrote the setting, what happens in the panels, what the character and poster and things look like, what the ParaWatch poster looks like, etc.

And then a very talented artist, V Shane, took my comic script and made it come to life–even more than I’d written, with loving detail. He did SUCH a beautiful job! (beaming) He not only did the drawing, but he also did the lettering, inking, coloring. I feel so lucky to have found Shane!

I love comics, so it was fun and exciting to be able to write a comic strip that ties into my novel HUNTED. There will be come to come, too! Shane and I are creating a 6-page comic book to tie into HUNTED, and there will be some more comic strips, too. I hope you enjoy the strip as much as I do!

Hunted releases late October.

I know that nothing might come of it–movies probably only get made from books less than 1% of the time that interest is taken in them. But still, it was *thrilling* for me to read this post where April Arrglington talks about HUNTED as being one of four books that she thinks would be good books to make a movie, TV show, or other transmedia out of! And yes–the film rights are still available. (grinning)

Good news! HUNTED is coming to Canada through Fitzhenry & Whiteside!! (beaming) I’m so happy I can finally share! Now Canadians will be able to easily buy my book. F&W will be publishing HUNTED in Canada at the same time as WestSide Books will be in the US.

I just got permission to post the first *six* pages of HUNTED (instead of just the first three). I’m happy to share it with you!
