Before digital type, there was Photo-Lettering, Inc. A casualty of the digital publishing revolution, most of Photo-Lettering’s timeless alphabet styles and the proprietary techniques that accompanied them have lain fallow for decades. House Industries, who acquired the collection in 2003, recently launched an online service based on the original Photo-Lettering model.
Photolettering.com users are able to purchase single settings for $7 each or for about $2 each through several subscription programs starting at $15 per month. The final product is a downloadable vector-based .pdf file that can be placed as art and edited in any drawing program.

Today is the last day of Armchair BEA, and I've enjoyed participating this week. I've talked about my love of Rhubarb cake, 2011 Children's Books and some tips for parents wanting to keep up with the ever changing children's book market.
The final Armchair BEA prompt is blogging about blogging. One thing I've learned about blogging is that there is never enough time to write about all that I'd like to write about, especially when it comes to books. I try to pick and choose our favorites and write about books that I think others will enjoy reading. Balancing life and blogging gets a little tricky sometimes, and in general, it seems I've started accepting fewer and fewer titles for review. Reviewing is easier if I'm writing about something that interests me and I enjoy.
Speaking of time, I've started to question whether or not my "Full to the Brim" posts are worth the time to compile. Do you like the list? Is it worth my time? I'd love your feedback today regarding this feature.

CD. The CD includes many lively party songs, and we've listened to it numerous times already. Both kids love dancing along to the familiar "I Like to Move It" and have their own dizzying version of a "Cotton Eye Joe" dance. My husband and I relived some of our school days when we heard "U Can't Touch This," and we tried to explain baggy "Hammer" pants to our kids.

As for your question on the predators. This summer was the first time we've had troubles. We have a sneaky raccoon (judging by footprints). They usually are okay so long as we lock them in at night, but he recently struck in midday. Or something did. :-(
