for a long long time i have gone through life thinking that i was alone. It was a stroke of dumb luck that i came across this image and discovered that i am not alone. To everyone else out there with the same disorder: pissmania, i just want you to know that there are more of us out there... :D

Tonight i had a very interesting conversation with a friend.
We were very bored, so he said he wanted to kill himself. I pointed out that if he were to do it, he should come up with a totally creative and original way to go!! So i suggested:
He would piss in his bathtub everyday (friends may help in the process) until the tub is full. Then he would electrocute himself in his own urine using an electric vibrator/dildo set at full speed!
This deserves an illustration... But i'm not in the mood!!
How about you? Do you have any creative ideas and suggestions? Come on! Help my friend out!

Tonight i had to say goodbye to a very good friend.
It's never easy to say goodbye... So if you're ever faced with a similar situation, do what i do: When the parting moment comes, point to the sky and yell "Look! flying boobies!" (It works on men of all ages), and when he turns to look, start running.
I always dread that moment. I never know the perfect way to act, or the perfect thing to say. I always end up making jokes, or not saying anything at all. And then afterwards, i come up with a million things i could have said... Too late!
Aslan, is there ever such thing as a perfect goodbye?!
I'm gonna miss the small things: the talks, the "cigara w nescafe 3al balcon", and the way we always argue cause we agree on relatively nothing!! (By the way, not everything is art!!)
But, i know that i'm not losing a friend. I'm gaining a "m3allim zefet"!
Good luck (k)
I'm gonna miss you very very very very very very very very much.

Moscow Moscow Moscow...
Well, let me start from the start!
The plane landed in Moscow at 2 in the morning, There were four of us: Elie, Anushka, Christopher and truly yours.
We decided to get a cab, and go directly downtown to the red square, and see where to go from there.
We got to the red square by 3 in the morning, which was wonderful, cause we got to see the sun rise over the Saint Basil's Cathedral. Amazing.
Then it was about 5 in the morning. One thing comes to mind: Mac Do Breakfast!
We follow a trail of Mac Do trash thrown on the ground to the nearest Mac Do in town. We get there, and only the drive-thru is open. Coffee and breakfast, and the nearest park. So we started the day with Moscow's hobos! Yeeey.
Breakfast done... now we need to pee! (no need for details)
Anyway, then it was about 8 and headed down to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, on the bank of the Moskva River, a few blocks west of the Kremlin.
I can't really describe how beautiful its domes looked as they glistened in the morning sun!
But, sadly, i couldn't go in because i was wearing shorts :(
All three of my friends came up with the same idea "let's find a park and get some sleep!"... Brilliant, that's what i came to Moscow to do, to sleep!
So they went to the park, and i headed to the Pushkin Museum.
When i was walking down the street, i found a huge group of people standing in line in front of a building. So i asked someone and he said that this was the museum, when a bus came in, and another big group of tourists came down and stood in line.
That meant that i had to wait at least two hours in line to get in! and then i needed about two hours to go through everything inside. So, sadly, Push

i got my lip gloss...
Okay... what else could i need?
I leave for Moscow in a few hours. So i'm gona be offline. See you when i get back to Kouptchina!

Yesterday, the night in St. Petersburg turned into day.
In celebration of the longest day of "white nights (nuits blanches)", a festival called "Alye Parusa" or "The Scarlet Sails" in english, is held by the river of St. Petersburg.
It is the largest public event in russia, with estimated attendance of one million people, and i was lucky to be there!
Google explains:
This tradition began here after the end of WWII, when several Leningrad schools united to celebrate the ending of a school year in connection with symbolism of the popular 1922 children's book "Scarlet Sails" by Alexander Grin. At the first celebration a boat with scarlet sails was sailing along the English Embankment and the Admiralty Embankment towards the Winter Palace. Although it was designed to update the rusty revolutionary propaganda, the "Scarlet Sails" tradition eventually evolved into a massive demonstration of freedom from "schools and rules" and became the most popular public event ever since, celebrating the ending of school year annually.
Today, the Scarlet Sails celebration includes large-scale events on the Neva River, such as rowing and motorboat races and massive pirate battles. Appearing at the finale is a tall ship sporting scarlet sails. Other entertainment includes simultaneous performances by popular rock stars, the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, and ballet and other classical acts.
Well, all that is interesting and nice, but my experience on the subject:
Imagine this: all the streets of Nevsky are closed (= down town Beirut x1000 times!) and you're free to roam around as you wish! (that's something big when you consider all the rules and regulations that you have here every day!)
About one million people all stupidly drunk and celebrating (and the amount of beer and vodka bottles on the streets)
The amount of fireworks that let up the skies!
It was all so beautiful... Well, until i had to pee!
Now, THAT was a traumatizing experience! But, heroically, i survived another Russian bathroom! Yeeeey me!

Yesterday was awesome!
I went to Hermitage, the ex-winter castle of the czars of Russia now Museum of Art and Antiquity.
They say that if u spend one minute in front of every work of art, you need almost five years to see everything in Hermitage. So imagine me trying to go through the whole collection in two hours!
I managed to go through some of the most important ones... Botticelli, Da Vinci (I completely made a fool of myself in front of that one cause i was poking people i don't know in the shoulder and telling them "Look! Da Vinci! Look!" and they were looking at me and mumbling things in Russian...) Rambrandt, Rubens (Two Rooms full!) etc etc...
Then i saw Rodin! Two rooms full of Picasso! three works by Van Gogh (almost cried of joy then.. but i had embarrassed myself enough when i was screaming, so decided to hold the tears!) Degas, Cezanne, Renoir, Signac, Monet (Paso i wished u were with me!), Henri Rousseau, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Gauguin, Matisse... etc etc!!!
It was all so overwhelming... I can't really explain!
I'm definitely going back!
Or i'm taking my sleeping bag moving there for ever and ever, i haven't decided there... Love u all!

Soooo
Went to the Cathedral Spasna Krovi in Nevsky Prospect! (Don't i sound cool when i say names in Russian?? The first day i was here, i thought that i could just put a -sky on any word and turn it into Russian ex: cellulairsky, pontalonsky etc... Well, no need to tell you, this doesn't really work!)
Anyway, the Cathedral IS NOT made of candy. But i'm still hoping the one in Moscow is! *fingers crossed* gonna find out next week.
We went bar hopping yesterday.
Went to a club called Jasmin. There was an oriental night! Russians go crazy over Arabic music! and u should see them dancing! They really try, bless their little hearts. Very entertaining! (pictures soon).
Then we went to another club and danced till 6 in the morning. The clubs here are packed till 6 cause that's when the metro opens again.
As for my Russian, it has not improved yet. I just learned a couple of things to get me by: "Mojna photo" which literally means "May i photo"! (cause that's the only way i could memorize it!), and "Moy Brat" which means "My brother" (you can't imagine how many times i've said to someone "Moy brat" with a double bang on the chest! yo! yo! Mish manzar ana 3al tari2!)
Ah, and one more thing! It costs 20 Rubles to take a piss in St.Petersburg! Walaw?!

SOOO
Bina2an 3ala talab al jamahir,
here are more pictures :)
So, upon arriving to Peter (yes, that's what we cool youngsters call St.Petersburg) we went to the Pub and had Coconut beer! yes, they have any flavor u can imagine!
That's me, Elie, and Veronica in the pictures.
Then the next day we woke up early (yes, 11 is early!) and went walking in down town.
One minute it's sunny and hot, then suddenly it's cloudy and rainy and cold!
All in all, it's fun!
