1. Line drawings

Here are some simple line drawings I did today.  I love drawing with Micron ink pens.  I feel like there is so much expression and emotion in a simple black and white image.

I haven't painted in watercolor in forever. Had fun this morning and painted some girls with sunglasses. Drawn in ink first …then watercolor…then into the computer and added a background.

3. Picture Perfect book #4

Here is the 4th cover for the friendship series called "Picture Perfect" I've been illustrating for HarperCollins. Attached is also the sketch that was chosen for this.  I ususally turn in about 3 to 4 different sketch options when I'm working on a book cover.

I really try to keep the look and feel of the sketch alive when I go to color in Photoshop.

This series if full of lots of fun friendship drama.

20. Build & Imagine !

I'm working on a really great project right now with a start up company called Build & Imagine.  It's a

super cute construction toy set for girls.  There are so many building sets out that are geared towards boys and really limited things to entice girls to build.

Check out the video and if you would like to see this great product on the market please back it!

24. A.G. Rocks!

One of my favorite clients is American Girl.  I've illustrated many fiction pieces for the magazine over the past few years.  I recently completed my third book for them which I am really excited about.  So thrilled to work along side of some of my favorite illustrators! I love being a part of spreading some
good fun and values to young girls (along with some super cute artwork!).

Thank you A.G!
