I will be very busy the weekend of Dec. 5-6, 2008 as I am doing an Author Signing at Dicho's Books and I will be featured storyteller at The Cozy Cottage. Both of these businesses are located in Bishop Arts District in Dallas and the neighborhood will be celebrating it's annual Jingle Bells in Bishop Arts. I am really excited as this will be a great way to promote my books.

Just starting a new online campaign and excited about the holidays......I have been thinking a lot about Honey and how much she loved life. Passed by the SPCA today and felt compelled to visit their website, just to see what is going on....There are so many puppies and dogs available for adoption. If we did not already have two dogs and a cat, I would really be looking at SPCA for a new family member....What about you, ever thought about checking out the great pets looking for a home or maybe helping to care for a pet whose medical bills are stacking up? I have just approved the proof of my third book in the Honey series. The book is Honey Visits Grandpa Smith and is going to be the best of all three books. I can't wait to start visiting schools during the upcoming school year of 08-09 and share my stories with the students. I have started getting emails out of the sky about my books and it is a great feeling!! Recently heard from a mom blogger who wants to put a review of my first two books on her site!! I am hoping to hear from more of her readers and other moms and dads who blog on a regular basis!!

Also, the Texas Library Association annual convention is in Dallas this week and my books are being featured at the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators booth along with other members products. Librarians from all over the state are in town and will have an opportunity to look at the books to possibly order for their libraries.

Finally, I have been accepted into the University of North Texas School of Library Science and will begin my coursework this summer to become a School Certified Librarian!!
