In my early career, I worked in public libraries and then stumbled into K-12 publishing where I've been ever since. My day job is consulting with educational publishers on content development, marketing and sales. My publishing company, New Day Publishing focuses on creating products for Christian teachers and parents to help teach little ones basic Christian values. I also blog about children's literature and was thrilled to participate in the recent Cybils Awards on a reading panel for Fiction Picture Books. On my blog at www.crazy4kidsbooks.blogspot.com, I write about books that I think are notable and the need to increase not cut school and public library funding. Connecting kids with books has always been a passion of mine.
