Comment by Josie Whitehead on 4/4/2009 at 1:59 AM:
Thanks for your Email Kit. I have done lots of school visits. One of the funniest was when I saw children performing my poem "The Winter Picnic" to: rap, to dance; to mime, and sang by girls in the school choir. It was left to their own interpretation. What fun it was for a writer to see how ch... more

I've only had the opportunity to conduct three school visits and I have to say each resulted in a positive experience. 1st - the children had to write a new ending to one of my short stories; 2nd - the children had to write up a graphic organizer for a non-fiction article on jellyfish and 3rd the cl... more

Kit...
Thought so. Yep, the 'undo' button is a godsend... Apart from my pencil and ink work, most of my coloured illustrations are now rendered digitally, I wouldn't have it any other way for speed and 'mistakes'.
take care, Aaron.
Comment by aaron pocock on 5/29/2008 at 5:07 PM:
Hey Kit, Thanks for the kind comments about my art.
Yeah.. shame the property market is going that way eh?
Lovely work... Do you colour digitally?
Take care, Aaron.

Hello Kit,
I love your giraffe so much that I think I'm going to have to write another story with a giraffe in it. Interested?
Comment by Nicole Hubbard on 5/20/2008 at 11:04 AM:
I must admit, I don't think anyone can resist that Giraff's gaze. By the way, thanks for the invite!

I Kit, I happened to stumble across your work and had to take a look. Very colorful! My favorite, though, is the one entitled, caught ya!

Hi Kit,
Thanks again for introducing jacketflap to me. It's a lot of fun to be able to communicate to such great authors and illustrators.
Keep in touch.
