I found the above pic I started from my pic book of long ago, ODD STREET. I think I am Mix Media. This piece is marker, ink, color pencil, you name it. I'm grappling with the background. I may go crazy if it's all color pencil.
Next drawing is a sketch from the nearby Zoo sanctuary. We signed up for a family membership for the year. I can now go when I want! I fell in love with a bear. His name is Shash. I hope my husband doesn't mind. We talked and talked (anyone knows my other biz, I am not crazy--okay, debatable--I talk to animals and get paid for it). Love this bear who is a complete flirt and very silly. He kept pacing though, so I couldn't get a good sketch. I think my energy is always moving around and then he was moving around, so that translates into a bit of chaos.
I followed the link to the website Catia Chien. The illustrations are beautiful.
