Pretty pleased with the turn out, but it's taken some adjustment. Is it just me, or are my paintings becoming muddier?! o.O

woah! So different from what it looked like monday. The morning light is beautiful. How did you do that?!?!?!? love the wings and can't wait to see dusk. I don't think it looks muddy at all.
Yeah, got pretty rich with the background leaves. :P The morning light is a mix of very light yellow glazes then bright yellow colored pencil gently on top. :)
And now that I'm done, I think you were right Natalie, that back wing isn't in the right place. But oh well, done now. :P

I just found you, so I have nothing to compare muddier with, but to me there is nothing muddy about this, it is wonderfully magical and a delight to see.
