This month we have two top Seed Agents of the Month – well done Charlie and Harry! Good luck with all those beans and potatoes you’ve been growing, looks like you’re going to invite some friends round for a yummy vegetable feast soon.

Charlie and Harry start work making newspaper pots
Thanks for the photo boys! If you all look carefully Charlie and Harry are showing us a Seed Agent secret. If you know it then even if you don’t have a greenhouse you can grow a few seeds on your windowsill and they’ll soon be ready to plant outside when its warmer.
So what’s the secret?
Roll up little tubes of newspaper
Fill them with compost
Put one bean in each tube
As the bean grows the newspaper will crumble away!
Now you can plant the whole thing without disturbing the roots.. sshhh!
Who’s going to be Seed Agent of the Month next? Keep sending us your letters, emails, drawings, and photos, and show us what fun and adventures you’re having in the garden and kitchen.
Go Go Grow!
