I've read a lot of "how-to write" books so I didn't think another one could help. But this one is worth the read.

I haven't heard of this one either. But if you recommend it, it must be good. I love writing because it's opened me up to a creative side of myself I never knew I had and I love making friends in the writing community.

I love to write because it's the one place in my perfectionism-riddled life where mistakes are okay. Even when it's hard I love it.
Part of the reason I love to write is that it seems to complement my day job as a professor of computer science. Whenever the left side of my head gets too heavy, writing brings me back into balance.
