Well today is the big day and Surtex will be up and running. So many flyers came in this week that I am taking the chance to post on the weekend. Today we have some fab new examples of work from designer Allison Cole. Allison will be exhibiting at Surtex for her sixth year, but this will be her first year exhibiting solo and self-represented. Jennifer L. Wambach is an illustrator from the Chicago area in the U.S. She has spent this year exploring hand-drawn and hand painted patterns and illustrations, focusing on watercolor sketchbook style artwork. She’s proud to be represented by Painted Planet Licensing and will be debuting many new collections at Surtex this year in booth 322.

Heather Rosas is a designer based in California who mainly focuses on children's markets. She has licesened her art on fabric, home decor, greetings cards, stationery, party paper, and holiday decor. Heather can be found at Surtex in booth 417.

With Surtex opening tomorrow we have a few extra flyers to post before the doors open in New York tomorrow. The first artist to showcase today is Tracey English who will be represented by Creatif in booth 207. Tracey creates all her designs out of hand coloured  tissue paper collage and is excited to see what new avenues this years Surtex will open up. She has also just embarked on the 100 day

Solvejg Makaretz will be making a Surtex Debut tomorrow with her studio label Tröskö. In 2012 Solvejg started her own line of home decor and accessories and called it Tröskö after a tiny island in a lake in Sweden where she grew up. She is now ready to license designs and can be found in in booth 466 .

Yorkshire designer and illustrator Natalie Alexander will be a Surtex in booth 570. Natalie had 12 years design industry experience before going freelance and her work is inspired by nature and travel.

Here are some individual flyers which showcase the wonderful variety of design that will be on offer at Surtex this year. Designer Linda Solovic has been been busy working on new art for Surtex. Her agent, Sheila Meehan, of Meehan Design Group will be showing Linda's work in booth 422. Linda is super excited about the show and about her new work.

Bley Hack of Esther Bley will be showing her lovely new watercolours at Surtex in booth 450.

Rebecca Stoner is now represented by the lovely team at MHS Licensing and Consulting and her work will be making it's debut at Surtex in booth 424. You can see a teaser of Rebecca's work on their website here  but they will be showing her full portfolio at Surtex which is brimming with lots of beautiful new work, including pretty patterns and fun illustrations.

Annie Chen of Lemonni Art & Design will be showing brand new design collections at Surtex this year in booth 445. Annie is a graphic/surface designer based in Vancouver, Canada with a real love for pattern who founded Lemonni in 2013. She welcomes all inquiries about licensing or collaborations.

Emma McGowan is an illustrator and surface pattern designer who's exhibiting for the first time at this year's Surtex, alongside three other artists from the newly formed Four Corners Art Collective. Emma was a semi-finalist in the last Global Talent Search and reached the final 8 of the Printsource Ultimate Portfolio Builder competition. Anais Lee, the illustrator and surface designer behind "Anais Lee Creative" will be showing her designs at Surtex in booth 346. Anais was born in Taiwan and now lives and works from her studio in Queens, New York. She creates illustrations and designs for books, greetings, stationery, home and gift products in children's and women's market. Anais is always fascinated by the beauty of nature

This year will Miriam Bos's third year exhibiting at Surtex, but it will be the first time that she is going solo. The last two years Miriam exhibited together with art collective Forest Foundry. But this year they have all decided to go on their own path. Some are exhibiting at Surtex with Australian agency Nerida Hansen, while others decided to go solo to Blueprint like Ine Beerten or Surtex

Eleri Fowler will be represented by Bright Art Licensing at Surtex this weekend. Eleri works in quite a few different freehand techniques but absolutely loves laser cut design, 3D character work and stitch. She has recently been working with Harper Collins to release her first range of adult colouring books but also have a selection of greetings cards ranges in stores with various publishers.

Designer Stacy Peterson will be showing new designs at Surtex in booth 524. Stacy’s work playfully interprets nostalgic childhood themes in a fresh, modern way. 2016 will see designer Karma Voce making her third appearence at the Surtex show. For the last 2 years she exhibited with Forest Foundry Art Collective, but this year her work will be represented by a new agent Nerida Hansen Print & Textiles from her home town of Melbourne. Kat Kalindi Cameron and Katy Tanis of Forest Foundry will also be exhibiting their work with Nerida’s booth this year.

Kevin Brackley will be making his debut at Surtex this year, exhibiting with other members of the Four Corners Art Collective. Kevin was born in Zimbabwe but lives in Sydney Australia.
