Tanzliese - Ein Märchen von P.J.Arnold mit Schrift und Schattenbildern von Walther Albert Renzing.
Heute möchte ich mal wieder ein altes Bilderbuch aus meiner Sammlung vorstellen. Es ist ein Buch von 1923 und ich finde es besonders gelungen, weil Schrift und Bild hier wunderbar aufeinander abgestimmt sind. Renzing war Maler, Lithograph und Silhouettenschneider in Hamburg und er war Schüler der Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf. (Thieme-Becker XXVIII,177.)
Lately I have been working on covering the glass part of my studio door with a giant reverse papercut. (I know, we all have our little hobbies)
