An Illustration Friday piece reheated for Post Something Monday, because I am lazy.

My three-year-old has a private obsession with Spongebob Squarepants. As a result, I think I've watched each episode of the show at least half a dozen times over. Here's my attempt at a character redesign of Spongebob and Patrick.

I did this for a game company about 5 years ago. I did a whole deck of old school monsters.

Here's a concept I thought of that makes me laugh every time. The idea of a robot fashion show. I think it would be great to watch. I can't decide what would be funnier...robots parading around a catwalk or people dressed as robots using materials such as cardboard and competing for the title of prettiest machine.

Happiness is a Sugar Frosted Monday. This was an original sketch I did for a friend/illustrator who totally deserved it and more because of the way he gives so much of himself.

A re-tooled version of a cover design I did for the most recent issue of ELECTRIC VELOCIPEDE. Since the zine is a black and white affair, I thought I'd use this colorized version for Post Something Monday.

Just trying out Art Rage (which is free or $20), I have to say it simulates pencil better than anything else I've tried....

Hello everybody!

This is my first entry in SFG! and I wanted to start with an oldie illo I made for IF last year. Here you can see Godo, a thumb that doesn’t like to be called fat, playing the Beatles :)

After a brief stint on the Galapagos Islands, William was finally ready to set sail for what would become a 14 month journey to return the stolen cargo he had picked up in Maine. He would fish during the day and what he didn't gut and eat for dinner became his seafaring companions. It was a love eat relationship.

For a story about getting your kids to help with chores around the house.

I saw this guy in Nosara, Costa Rica, last summer. He was taking surfing lessons at one of the surf schools. He always walked around in baggy shorts, Hawaiian print shirt, beach towel slung over his shoulder Biblical-style, carrying his surfboard. Never actually saw him go in the ocean. Just walking around with his surfboard. So I envisioned him parting the sea.

Blind Contour- Total Cereal
I' ve been health and nutrition consious all my life. My day is "totally" about starting with a good breakfast - and my favorite cereal. I top it off with fresh blueberries (great antidioxants) and flaxseed (lignin) and cold skim milk. This combination is a must for me and a great way to start the day!

Okay, here's something freaky for Post Something Monday...that scary gal in the upcoming film 'Dead Silence.' Oooooooooo..... :P

I did this as part of a poster contest I entered at the last minute...the poster turned out crappy but I still liked the drawing of Scary Mary. I never draw corpse-like old women--who knew how much fun it could be??
