Here's the robot who features on page two of the robot museum. I didn't know which robot was going on page two, all I knew was that he had to be big . I wasn't satisfied with any of the existing designs so I went back to the drawing board. And I flipped through other people's work because that helps gets things going to. Anyway I came across a number of bird drawings by the amazing artist Michael Knapp, an owl picture in particular. The robot in question suddenly became clear. He's a sort of Owlbot, or Knapbot?Anyway, you should certainly check out his work, especially Out Of Picture, the best comics anthology I've seen.

Where does time go?! I can't believe its been a couple of weeks since I last checked in, and so much has been going on. The Scholastic thing is fantastic, congratulations. And the latest drawings and first pages are just delightful. LOVE the Quentin sculpture, what a lovely thing for Anthony to have done.
And Congratulations on the best seller status for The Terrible, Horrible, Smelly Pirate! I love my copy - my favorite parts are the pink clouds, the spider, and the surprise robot you snuck in :-) Way to go!
Thanks Terry! I'm glad you noticed the hiding robot in the book. I was starting to script the Museum story at the end of the book and seriously had robots on my mind. I'll post more of the comic early next week.
Oh this is so excellent :)
Thanks Viviane!
