I work digitally %100 percent so I rarely pick up actual paints, pencils, papers, etc. these days, except to do my non-work-related sketching. So in sharing my "favorite" art tool or product, I'm going to have to vote for my Cintiq. I've been drawing on tablets for years and it has become second nature to draw to my right and watch the drawing actually take place on a monitor to my left. No problem. But now, with the Cintiq, I can draw directly on the monitor itself, just as if I was drawing on paper or something. It's a most cool tool to have and I liked it so much, I also bought the baby Cintiq so I could take with me when I go south during winter. There are a lot of demos out there on You Tube and like places to see the Cintiq in action. So if you're curious, do a search and check them out. I'll just leave you with some pictures I took of them yesterday in my studio.

Lately I've used a lot of acrylic paints for my illustrations, but I think that watercolors will always be my favorite kind of paints. I love how the colors mix together and how quick this medium is to work with. A watercolor sketch created in a few seconds can look so amazing.

I love that you have a mama and a baby cintiq. They look so cool, thanks for sharing pics.
I just have a little mini baby bamboo... could be the pet of your cintiq family... :P
OMG Paula!!! Look at this set up!!! This is big pimpin! I love it! I only wish for a baby cintiq. But I'll take the whole family too. Some day....
I guess you learn something new every day. I had no idea these things were around. I should give one a try. I have a Wacom and can't draw a straight line on it if my life depended on it! Even though I've been doing all of my graphic design on the computer for years. weird, huh?
Oh, this looks so cool! I want one!
WOW - Your setup is too cool! I have to get one of those! (I am just not coordinated enough for a tablet!)
I'm a big fan of my cintiq as well. I am trying to figure out which I like better the big or small one.
