Happy Valentine's Day! As I said in last year's post, I try to use this month to catch up on correspondence, as St. Valentine was a deliverer of letters. I've managed to do that once this month. I'd also meant to have a recorded version of my revised song "Green is the Color of My Merman's Hair" (to the tune of "Black is the Color of My True Love's Hair). I'll post the lyrics and chords now and

Love the original song, and love your new lyrics as much or more. (I didn't so much read them as sing them mentally, a phrase which here means "to myself inside my head", but other interpretations possibly apply as well.)

I don't know how the song goes...
But the lyrics are great!
It'd be fun to do a youtube video with a whole bunch of different people singing it - you know, a guy, a girl, a Latina, a black man, a native american man, an asian woman... All singing the same song, with the melody picked up by each in turn... just show their faces, and let the song weave through them, one by one. It would be beautiful!
