This is what's propped up next to my drawing table now. It pretty much says it all.
My turkey, Hedda, was a no show for a few days, and I feared the worst. But she was back this morning! I tried to snap a pic of her and Isabella, co-hanging out in the bark, through a not-as-clean-as-it-should-be window, and from far away ~ but you can kind of see.

Yesterday I took a real day off ~ not the kind of day off where you just sort of laze about and mean to work but don't really get anything done and then feel guilty. No, I actually purposely went out to lunch, then did some antique shopping. It felt great! Now its back to the real world.
Today I'm knitting, and also making a lonnnnnng 'to do' list, which I will prune and sort and organize into little manageable bits. They say to make 'achievable goals', so that's what I'm going to do. 40,000 things broken down into littler bits of 10 or 20 at a time is much easier to accomplish!
Next time I'll try to have something more interesting to chat about...
